WWE News: Retribution Speak For The First Time On WWE Raw

Last night viewers were finally given an incline into what the group are after as they spoke for the very first time as they rallied that the WWE abandoned them. They also took shots at the Thunderdome and insisted that they wouldn’t support anyone that agrees with the WWE.

Once again, the group caused havoc with the lights before making their statement, as the arena went dark before they started talking. The segment took place during the match which saw a shock win for the Riott Squad over the defending tag team champions.

WWE News: Guesses Over Leader Of The Group

Since they made their arrival on weekly television there was great excitement about who could possibly be in the group. A name that constantly is brought to the attention is Dominik Dijakovic, as the NXT star hasn’t been seen on the yellow brand for a number of weeks now and has also been cryptic on his social media pages.

This could yet be a red herring, with some fans even predicting that one of the stars could be Mercedes Martinez. There have also been some fans that have speculated that the group could consist of superstars that have been released from the company previously, with some hoping that the leader may in fact be Wade Barratt as he has once again started appearing on NXT as a commentator.

WWE News: Group Miss Major PPVS

There is easily holes to be seen in the story at present, as for a group that wants to cause as much chaos as possible on the WWE, they missed one of the biggest shows of the year. They didn’t appear during SummerSlam, and then were absent again the following week for Payback. It isn’t even clear where they may fit into the card.

When Nexus debuted they went straight to the top as they immediately began to feud with John Cena. However, Retribution did tease a rivalry with McIntyre before they then have settled for a place in the middle of the card. It could end up being another opportunity wasted by the WWE as they could have gone very hard with this group and now fans are beginning to dwindle.
