WWE News: Potential Matches We Could See At Survivor Series This Year

It seems as though there are already seeds being planted by the WWE ahead of huge matches at the upcoming Survivor Series. There are exactly two months to go until one of the biggest shows of the year, but fans are already speculating that they may know at least a couple of matches that will be headlining the show. But, which matches could we see headlining Survivor Series when it finally takes place on the 22nd November?

WWE News: Retribution Set For Huge Debut

Survivor Series may still be two months away, but it doesn’t appear likely that we will see Retribution in action in an official PPV match before that point. That certainly opens the door for a huge match to be set-up for the Survivor Series pay-per-view.

It seems as though the WWE are going down the same route as they did with Nexus for this rivalry, and it seems as though a team of WWE stars will be taking them on in an elimination match.

Superstars that will be involved on the WWE side are hard to predict, but Drew McIntyre’s commitment to get involved with Retribution means he could likely be involved. Meanwhile, the Hurt Business also have unfinished business with the group.

WWE News: Women’s Champions Clash

If the WWE are going to follow on from the idea from last year, which pitted NXT against SmackDown and Raw, then a clash between the three champions holding the women’s belts looks likely.

This was one of the best matches on the card at Survivor Series last year, and it could once again be one of the best on this card. It remains to be seen who the three champions will be, but either way, it is going to be a huge match that the fans will be hooked by.

WWE News: Men’s Champions Clash

As well as the women, the men will also clash. This could be an enthralling match between the NXT, Raw and SmackDown champions. It remains to be seen whether McIntyre will still be champion by the time that Survivor Series rolls around, but there would certainly be something fascinating about a triple threat between Balor, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

McIntyre himself has history with both Reigns and Balor, which means that the WWE will not be able to mess this match up whichever way that they decide to go in.
