Univision Vencer El Miedo Spoilers: Hostage situation

First, let’s talk about the situation we left off on. See, Omar Cifuentes (Danilo Carrera) and Marcela Durán (Paulina Goto) were on a mission to learn how Fabián Cifuentes (Moisés Arizmendi) died. Poor Omar came to discover his own uncle was involved in shady business, resulting in Fabián’s death.

Even worse, David manipulated things so his own small kid thought he was the killer. David Cifuentes (Alejandro Ávila) definitely got what was coming to him, but not before some big drama.

Vencer el Miedo spoilers reveal Marcela revealed herself to keep Rommel Guajardo (Emmanuel Palomares) and Tulio Menéndez (Pablo Valentín) from shooting Omar. Her plan nearly failed. Tulio was about two seconds from killing her when Rommel showed a sliver of humanity.

As in, he shot Tulio and killed him before Tulio could kill Marcela. He wasn’t just going to let it go, however.

His pride wounded, Rommel decided to handle both of them at once. First, he set things up so Omar would go down for Tulio’s death. Then, he took off with Marcela. Omar followed and they caught the attention of the police. Rommel ended up in the hospital and under arrest.

It’s hard to spin being an innocent guy when you’re holding a woman at gunpoint. And, of course, Omar was the hero. He was the one who jumped into the cop car and explained what was going on. Plus, he risked himself by approaching Rommel’s car and attacking him before Rommel could shoot Marcela for leaving him for Omar.

Univision Vencer El Miedo Spoilers: Plan foiled

Meanwhile, David and Rommel’s dirty gun business fell apart. The plan was to hide a bunch of arms inside of a parade display, but the police ended up finding the stash. Now, he and David are in a bigger mess, as is most of the people associated with them. And it couldn’t have happened to better people.

If there’s one problem we had with this bit, it was how stupid the whole arrest situation was. They discovered a bunch of illegal weapons and had everyone on the ground.

However, they apparently didn’t bother to check everyone to make sure no one was armed. One of the gang pulled a gun to escape, but ended up shot. A situation that could have been avoided had they, you know, searched the guys individually.

In the end, all the men were still in custody. Plus, they were led straight to David, who also got arrested. One loose end we have to tie up is his involvement in Fabian’s death.

David already confessed and Omar knows it. However, not to the police. And there’s no proof he did it. So, Omar went back to the house to find whatever proof he could. This led to another really dumb situation.

Apparently, after the shooting, he never bothered to clean the room properly. He just had the wife take care of wall papers to cover everything. Mabel Garza de Cifuentes (Adanely Núñez) apparently wants to help, now that so much is coming out. She pointed him to where the bullet hit.

When Omar pulled off the wallpaper, what’d he find? Not only a hole, but blood as well. Seriously. We can’t at how stupid David apparently is for a big-time arms dealer. Now, Omar has hope of proving David’s guilt. Not to mention fully clearing Marcela’s name.

Univision Vencer El Miedo Spoilers: Revelations

Also, Vencer el Miedo spoilers reveal two big revelations came to light. First, there was the situation was Marcela. See, Rebeca Rodríguez (Nicole Vale), her “friend”, had a thing with David. Once his shady business came to light (and he tried to use Rebecca as a hostage), she realized it was time to come clean about an old sin.

See, she’d been sleeping with Rommel three years ago. She was ready to tell everything back then, but Rommel went on about how Marcela would never believe her. Plus, he wasn’t going to be with her alone.

So, out of jealousy, she placed an anonymous call to the police to tell them Marcela was about to steal a car. That’s how the police knew to chase the car, and why Marcela went through all this. Nice friend, huh? Obviously, Marcela doesn’t think there’s forgiveness in the future.

In other news, Rommel is recovering after his failed escape in the hospital. He ended up learning a shocking fact. See, his mother never told him who his father was. When Lupe (Ariane Pellicer) showed up at the hospital, he ended up wanting the truth. His dad? Tulio. The same man he killed to save Marcela. You can guess how he took that.

Univision Vencer El Miedo Spoilers: It’s been nice…

Finally, we have Inés Durán (Arcelia Ramírez). She has spent a lot of this show being mistreated by Vicente Durán (Alberto Estrella). Finally, she divorced him and she’s rebuilding her life alone. The thing is, her ex and father of Lorenzo Bracho (Axel Ricco) showed up.

Agustín (Juan Carlos Barreto) and Inés looked like they might be rebuilding things. They even slept together. Agustín believed this meant they were getting a second chance. However, Inés wasn’t fooled. She’d learned he’d been a coward all those years ago and now he wanted to use her, as he needed someone to care for him in old age. She let him know she’s well-aware of all that and has no need, nor desire to be with him anymore. So, what’s left?

Univision Vencer El Miedo Spoilers: Tonight

There’s no teasers out for tonight, but we do have that pending thing Omar proving his father’s guilt. Plus, on Friday, Elvira Tinoco (Michelle González) and Areli Durán (Emilia Berjón) had a brief bonding moment. So, we’ll see if that changes anything for her and Lorenzo.

We also have to see how Cristina Durán (Jade Fraser) ends up, since she wanted to be a swimmer again. However, that drug she’s taking for anxiety is banned. We also left Rommel in an interesting position, so we’ll have to wait and see if he learns anything and tries to make his wrongs right.
