There is no doubting Aldana’s pedigree in the octagon, as she has the second best defensive takedown in UFC history. She also comes into this fight against Holm in good form, as she has won her last two fights. She has also won five of her last six fights in the UFC. Aldana’s last defeat in the UFC came back in July last year, as she was beaten via split division by Raquel Pennington.
Aldana’s last two wins have come against Vanessa Melo and Ketlen Vieira. The latter of those saw her awarded the performance of the night accolade as she won by knock out inside the opening round.
