Joe Rogan is moving to Texas! Everything’s bigger in Texas, right? Except maybe this new podcast studio he has. What in the hell happened? Everything just looks so off and fans of the insanely large podcast are picking it apart. The terrible lighting, the odd shape of the room, the bright color, it seems so offputting.

So what made the old studio so great? It just felt homier. The colors weren’t so blasted and even though the cameras weren’t HD, it didn’t matter. You got a good feeling from it, the colors weren’t in your face and the lighting wasn’t blasting on them so much. Take a look at the beginning of his newest podcast with Ron White below.

See what we mean? A lot of people commented on the new studio saying, “Ron White looks like he’s an Obi Wan Kenobi hologram in the Jedi Temple”, “The studio looks like a set on Star Wars. Especially that scene at the end of Empire.”, “The new studio is literally making my eyes hurt.”, “Looks like he’s doing an interview in a shipping container” and “I miss the brick walls, it’s a tip of the hat to Rogan’s Stand-Up roots”.

Everything about the new studio has viewers talking and it’s not good. It’ll be interesting to see if Rogan acknowledges it at all with his famous, “post it and drop it” routine and not giving in to what other people want. He probably loves his new studio and doesn’t care what we’re all saying, and more power to him!
