Henry Cavill Signs 3 Picture Deal To Return As Superman For DC!

Henry Cavill has starred as the Man of Steel in three different films, beginning with ‘Man of Steel’, and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ to ‘Justice League’. You could say four because of ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’!

Since the first film in 2013, fans of wanted nothing but more of Cavill as Superman, though it’s taken nearly 7 years, it looks like we can finally rejoice! According to TCN (The Culture Nerd),

“Sources close to both TCN and DCUNews have confirmed Henry Cavill has signed a new deal to reprise his role as Superman in future DC films.”

Continuing on, it’s been stated that the contract includes 3 films from Cavill’s own pitch as well as future cameos in other DC Films, (fingers crossed ‘Shazam’), making for a total of 5-6 films!

“The pitch was widely praised and has led to the official confirmation of his new contract for more appearances as Superman. Ours and DCUNews’ sources have stated that the contract includes 3 films for Cavill’s pitch and options for future cameos in other future DC films, for a total of 5-6 movies.”

Over the last year, it’s been rumored off and on that Cavill may be done with Superman, or that the studios were done with it, but thankfully, this gives up hope and excitement for what the future has in store. Fans love Cavill, and his Superman has been incredible to watch.
