WWE News: Will Kevin Owens Have A Match On The Card At SummerSlam?

WWE news finds that fans constantly see Kevin Owens as one of the best performers on the main roster, and that makes it somewhat surprising that KO still doesn’t have a match on the main card of SummerSlam at the end of this month. Owens hasn’t been involved in a programme of his own over recent weeks, and has been instead busy helping re-form the Riott Squad.

Every time Owens is one television there is immediate attention from the audience, as viewers know exactly what KO is capable of. However, since his rivalry with Seth Rollins was brought to an end at WrestleMania, there hasn’t been a meaningful rivalry for Owens on the main show. But, could this mean that he won’t included on the SummerSlam card?

WWE News: Owens And Orton Tear Roof Down

Owens was involved in one of the best matches on Monday night Raw this past week, as he and Orton delivered a high-quality bout to main event the show. However, the match was overlooked for the main, as the biggest talking point afterwards was Orton’s attack on Ric Flair.

It was no real surprise that Orton won the match, and it doesn’t harm Owens that he was beaten. Orton is the hottest star in the company at the moment and this match was likely just a building block for Orton’s upcoming match against Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. But, could something more interesting be on the horizon for Owens.

WWE News: Owens Heel Turn?

Owens has been doing an awful lot of work over the past couple of weeks to help others improve, with the re-forming of the Riott Squad taking place on his chat show segment. However, with Owens working so hard to boost the levels of those around him, could he soon reach the end of his patience and begin to get impatient that he isn’t getting anything in return?

He has certainly been a very good face, but Owens as a heel is as dangerous as they come. There could be a heel turn on the horizon as he starts demanding that he gets things that he wants. One of those things could be a future championship opportunity, and very few fans would oppose the idea of seeing Owens and Drew McIntyre going one on one for the WWE Championship.
