NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has a decision to make. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has already turned her down when it comes to adopting her baby thanks to Mom Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) meddling.
Also Rafe is just not at the point emotionally where he can adopt a child right now after losing baby David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends) to his biological family in court. He’s been burned so it’s natural that he would now shy away from the process, at least for awhile. Maybe he’ll change his mind at some point but clearly, Ally’s baby is just not the one.

So that leaves her brother Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and his partner Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) but now Allie does not want them to get the kid either because she knows that Mom Sami literally set the trap for them to get the kid and she has realized that Sami has a lot of control over Will, a lot more than she thought.
So now that option is off the table. Now, it looks like they will go by the old soap standard and might make Allie keep the baby but there are a couple of third and fourth options who are actually family that might offer Allie some peace of mind.
Eric and Nicole: Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) are tried and true parents. Eric is a good Dad, Allie loves and gets along with Uncle Eric and Auntie Nicole and as we saw today, Eric would not let Sami push him around. If Allie didn’t want Sami in the kid’s life then Eric would respect those wishes.
He is literally the only one who is telling Sami to stay away from her right now and respect what Allie wants instead of barging in and controlling the situation. Also, it would burn Sami up that Nicole got to raise her Grandchild and as someone who’s been tired of Sami’s antics since Eric and Nicole became a thing in the mid-90’s I’d stand up and cheer.
Sarah Horton: Noe this one’s a wild card, but, Sarah Horton is another member of the Horton clan that would be a good candidate. We saw how good she was with baby Mickey Horton when the child got unexpectedly ill with a potentially catastrophic childhood illness. We saw how she cared for her and she’s obviously still reeling from having to give her back to Kristen.
If anything I think she deserves a second chance to be a Mom and this would definitely give it to her. However, I’m not sure that she would want to because as she told Xander she isn’t in a headspace to adopt a baby right now but I don’t think it would take her that long to get on board. After all, it took her all of five minutes to decide to get back with Xander.
As for Sami’s involvement I am actually not sure how that would work out. I do know as far as the Horton/Brady clan, Sarah may just outrank her because she is a respected doctor at the hospital and her Mom Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) is married to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and I just think going up against that side of the family would be too messy for Sami. But we’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
