CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that new episodes are right around the corner! In fact, they are less than a week away! However, it’s been so many months a lot of us may have forgotten or need a refresher of where we were before we left off. No worries, I’m going to try to go through the main storylines and get you caught up before we dive back in next week!
Starting with, Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) revelation. To recap, Adam when back to Kansas for a mini getaway and ran into his old friend there, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). Alyssa and Adam began talking about their family and how everything was going when it got brought up that Alyssa’s father was a loan shark and was murdered.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) put it in Adam’s head later that evening that around the time of Alyssa’s father’s death, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had been in town. This starts Adam thinking about the time frame and he begins to suspect Victor had something to do with the murder.
Adam enlisted the help of Alyssa, who was now a reporter, and together they found clues and tried to figure out the man responsible for her father’s death. However, Adam didn’t hold up his end of the deal and took the information to use for himself. They concluded Victor was in the same place at the same time and spoke with the coroner whom Victor had paid off. Adam was so sure of himself.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Where Were We? – Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) Current Debacle
Adam then took this information to Victor and began trying to blackmail him. However, it actually worked! Remember, for about an episode or two. Adam had Newman Enterprises for a very short time until Victor finally had to tell Adam the truth. Victor didn’t want to tell Adam but he kept accusing him of something he didn’t do.
We found out that Adam had actually been the killer when he was a child, and Victor wasn’t covering up for his own tracks, but rather trying to keep Adam safe! This didn’t go over well for Adam and he was left in denial. We assumed this was true, so when we get back, there will definitely be some confrontation between the father and son again. Did Adam really do it? Is Victor trying to cover his own but, or is he telling the truth?
