The Ellen Show Controversy: None Of Ellen DeGeneres’ Celebrity Friends Are Stepping In To Defend Her

Ellen DeGeneres has managed to generate more negative publicity than positive these days and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a lot of people lining up to defend her.

As a matter of fact, you will have a better chance of hearing crickets than anyone of Ellen’s celebrity friends come out of the woodwork to defend her good name. Here’s what you need to know.

For the last several months, Ellen DeGeneres has gotten a lot of criticism for apparently not being very nice behind the scenes. In fact, reports indicate that allegations were made over racism and intimidation behind the scenes.

If that weren’t enough, there was also outrage among the production crew, who were not only subjected to poor communication and reduced compensation during the coronavirus shutdown, but the series also hired a non-union crew to mount a quarantined production from Ellen’s’ home in Los Angeles.

While one would think that someone from Ellen’s corner would stand up and defend the longtime talk show host, that hasn’t happened yet. In fact, it seems as though everyone is trying to distance themselves from Ellen DeGeneres, as more and more people are calling her out for not treating her crew with the respect they deserve.

A source connected to the crew tells Us Weekly that they are all reveling over the fact that Ellen is finally getting what she deserves – and that’s bad press. If that weren’t enough, they believe it has been a long time coming for the television star.

“They’ve been calling and texting each other about the story,” the source revealed. “They’re loving that the truth — which has been an open secret for years in the industry — is finally receiving more interest.”

Ellen’s former bodyguard Thomas Majercak told Fox News that his experience with Ellen DeGeneres was anything but pleasant. He said she was both cold and demeaning to her during the 2014 Oscars ceremony.

“Ellen is the one person that I’ve been assigned to — and I’ve been assigned to quite a few celebrities — that has never taken the time to say hi to me,” Majercak claimed to Fox News at the time.
