NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) recently returned to the series. While she’s still not in Salem exactly, we’ve been able to catch up on her life in Bayview. Let’s take a look at what’s likely next for her and why we’re not so sure she should be back.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Please, Grandma?
The last time we saw Claire was for the Halloween 2019 episode. We think there’s some significance to this. But we’ll get to that in a minute. First, let’s quickly catch you up on her return so far.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we saw her for the first time in a real context this past week. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) paid a visit to Claire at Bayview at Claire’s request. We learned a couple of things from this. First, Marlena has been a pretty regular visitor, as have Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), however, hasn’t been around at all. And given Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) recent talk, it sounds like he hasn’t loaned any support to her either. In the meanwhile, Claire seems to have been the model patient and she’s made friends with a character named Gwen (Emily O’Brien). So what was the reason for Claire’s visit? She wanted Marlena’s help in getting out. As soon as possible.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Not so recovered?
Marlena seemed to balk at the request at first, then seemed a bit reluctant to make any determinations on whether she’s recovered or not. Smart move. She isn’t Claire’s doctor, and she’s also too close to her. Since that visit, she’s talked with Claire’s doctors and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) because she and John would need to keep an eye on her. She has very valid fears that the #Cin wedding could be a trigger for Claire. However, they both seem on board and are willing to talk to Claire’s parents and see what they say. We’re not sure this is good.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that Claire stole a wedding invite from what she assumes was one of Ben’s former doctors. She gave off total red flags as she sat there looking at the invite while humming The Wedding March. Then, when Gwen saw the invite and asked how she got it, Claire admitted to taking it “on an impulse”. When have Claire’s impulsive actions turned out well? This sounds bad all around.
Plus, much like the Halloween episode where Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) was a bad influence on Claire, we see Gwen doing the same. Their interactions have left entertained (Gwen’s awesome and insightful), but uncomfortable. We’d suggest Marlena and John not let her have any contact with Gwen.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Next steps
We’re anticipating a quick return from Shawn and Belle, followed by an even faster release of Claire. We think things will be okay at first, but we think Ciara will end up disappointing Claire and that will set her off. She seems to really want to be a bridesmaid, while Ciara doesn’t seem to keen on the idea when she and Ben were talking wedding plans. She doesn’t even know Claire’s release is a possibility, but she did mention missing the old Claire. The way she said it all, it sounds like she isn’t ready to be around Claire, or accept she’s the old her yet. Stay tuned to see how it all goes down.
