‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 28: Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) Plants a Bomb

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that fans have enjoyed over the course of these theme weeks is the moments or tease of moments we’ve gotten to enjoy. It’s helped stoke our passion for the older shows (our regular insistence they bring back a soap opera channel is testament to this), and rekindled our love for many of the stars no longer with it.

It’s also brought some bloodlust to the surface, but that’s understandable give it’s Villains Week. Right? This throwback spoilers involves a yacht exploding, which is a good thing, a knockdown, drag out fight, and a bomb. Not necessarily in that order. Kinda feels like we’re back in the 80s watching an action show, but with a lot more depth to it. Here we go, coming to us all the way from December 15, 2005, is an explosive episode that we don’t want to miss. Be sure to grab plenty of snacks to last the duration.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For May 28: Sheila won’t be stopped

There’s something about going on a yacht to a paradise on one’s honeymoon that’s the stuff of dreams. Most of us would kill to be on one of those trips, but Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) would kill. Big difference. It all starts out innocently enough (is there such a thing?) when Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) is seeing to a couple of things while enjoying her honeymoon with Michal Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Nothing wrong here since couples can’t be together all of the time, even on a boat. But when she spotted Sheila standing in front of her, things got interesting.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For May 28: Sheila plants a bomb

The two scrapped a bit before Tom Fisher (Roscoe Born), Michael’s father, ran in. Sheila and Tom quickly tied Lauren up as they planned to kidnap Lauren. During this altercation, Tom called Sheila “Brenda” and even admitted she wore disguises and used the name “Jennifer” as well. Everything clicked together for Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), and she tried to convince Tom that Sheila would kill them both when she was done with them. Unknown to Lauren, Sheila planted a bomb and timer next to the yacht’s fuel tank. While Michael and the yacht’s captain were on shore and getting ready to swim back, it went off and destroyed that yacht, seemingly killing everyone.

This left us with a pretty cool cliffhanger that we’ll have to look up, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers isn’t daunted. This is too good a story not to read up on, and we hope you feel the same. Maybe this would be a good arc for them to revisit in another theme week?
