E! ‘Total Bellas’ Spoilers shows that in its fifth season, this show has no shortage of drama to deliver to fans. During the fourth episode, the Bella twins and family get into an argument over photographs, among other topics. Mother Kathy Colace wanted a professional photo shoot, and tension ensued when she did not think Nikki Bella’s boyfriend, Artem Chigvintsev, should be in the pictures. To top it all off, brother JJ Garcia took multiple stabs at Nikki for not giving his daughters enough attention.

Mother Kathy Colace hoped for the perfect family photoshoot for her birthday. However, when it came to Artem tagging along, it became clear she did not want him in the photographs. Kathy explained herself in a side interview: “I question sometimes if Nicole’s really taken her relationship seriously. That’s the reason I’m more cautious with Artem.”
Although Kathy said, “This is my birthday present, my family together in a family photo,” Kathy compromised and allowed Artem to appear in some photos. But, she requested a separate series of photos sans the boyfriend. Instead of being forward about her decision, she made this request privately.

Amid Kathy’s secret planning, JJ Garcia and his wife Lauren Garcia accused Nikki of favoring Brie Bella’s daughter, Birdie Joe Danielson, over their children. Nikki could not handle the tension.
As picture day came about, stress was building between family members. A little desert hike and a looming thunderstorm added to the mood. Nikki showed up late to the shoot, and brother JJ couldn’t help but make a snarky comment. “This is what happens when Nicole finally shows up, God gets mad,” said JJ.
JJ continued the wisecracks, claiming that Nikki just wanted to stand alongside Birdie in the picture. Nikki said to the cameras, “Am I in the right family photo right now? Because I feel like I’m about to go meet Artem and just kick myself out, because this is like unreal.”

Kathy tried calming the siblings down. Their arguing only ceased momentarily once Artem arrived at the photo shoot. JJ then revealed to Artem that Kathy didn’t want him in the family picture. A regretful Kathy later said, “I don’t believe in karma, but I have to say these photos are a disaster. I guess this is what I get…”
Nikki and JJ eventually made amends and hugged it out. All families have their issues, and at least this family isn’t shy about sharing their feelings and opinions with one another. To keep up with the Bellas, tune into E! On Thursdays, 9 p.m./8c.
