It has got to be tough to be the new girl on a show of established women. Garcelle is a just a little bit nervous about it, but she thinks she’s be just fine. The big thing that she is worried about is the confessionals, where the housewives say everything in secret and not to her face. “They didn’t say anything to my face, but I’m sure behind the scenes, someone must have said something.” She was asked, “Why do you think they wouldn’t sat nothing to your face?” Garcelle answered, “I don’t know. I’m the new girl on the block and…and black.”

“I do think that because being the new girl and the first black woman on the show has made people a little nervous. I don’t know if they were as forward as they would be. But, maybe in the confessionals, I’ll learn more.” We have seen a lot of drama on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and we just don’t know how Garcelle will fit in.
Garcelle is taking the place of Lisa Vanderpump on the show. She starred on the Jamie Foxx Show and NYPD Blue. Beauvais was in the news about ten years ago when her husband’s cheating scandal was a huge part of the news! She was married to Mike Nilon. He was an agent for CAA. She actually sent an email out to let her husband’s friends know that she knew he was cheating on her. You can catch more of Garcelle in season ten on April 15 on Bravo.
