TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: ‘Before the 90 Days’ finds that Youtuber Stepanka Matto AKA Stephanie from ‘Before the 90 Days’, has finally shown up in Australia! Watching her meet up with Erika Owens for the first time was so cute! They were so excited to see each other and there was surprisingly no awkwardness, even though Steph was kind of self-conscious about her looks after that flight. She said before she was with Erika for the first time she wanted to take a bath (which honestly, is a lot more than I can say for some of the peeps on here when they meet their finances for the first time.) and generally make herself pretty again from being on the plane. You can’t blame the girl.
Erika, however, seemed to be a little impatient. She thought that Steph was teasing her on purpose. She wanted to really bond with her and get down to the physical right away, but Steph seems apprehensive about that. She has reasons, for one thing, she has self-admitted that she has been celibate for a while and when you’ve been celibate for a while it can be awkward, trying to get back into the swing of things. Also, there’s the fact that she as Aplastic anemia and just about any kind of germ could kill her, but since she’s already here I guess that’s beside the point.

Something that she mentioned on her youtube channel a while back though (quite a while, somewhere around 2016, I do believe) is that she is demisexual. Demisexual is an identity that is on the spectrum of asexuality. Demisexuals are quite reserved in their sexual identity, they only have sex with those people with whom they have a deep, emotional bond, so the free-spirited hookup culture of today is a notion that is quite uncomfortable for them. Emotional bonds take a while to forge, and Stephanie said herself that she doesn’t seem to be quite there yet with Erika, and worries whether or not that’s going to affect their compatibility.
Honestly, it just might. Usually, it helps a relationship greatly if the two partners are on the same page when it comes to intimacy if they’re not then it’s one-sided and that’s not comfortable with anyone. My heart goes out for Stepanka because as a demi myself, I know the struggle. It’s hard to have a relationship when you’re not quite on the same page as your partner. Especially when the partner is one that seems as free-spirited as Erika, she loves living her life as authentically and loudly as possible, and we stan that, we truly do, but Steph seems to be a bit more reserved and we hope that there won’t be any misunderstanding between them, but from the previews… I think that maybe entirely possible.
