As a matter of fact, Hope is absolutely guilt-ridden over everything that has transpired while Princess Gina was in her mind and body. ‘Days of Our Lives’ head writer Ron Carlivati says that fans can expect Hope Brady to feel very, very guilty about everything that Princess Gina has said and done in her absence. And while Hope is certainly not the same person that Princess Gina is, she does feel responsible for her actions.

Carlivati tells Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue, “When Hope finds out what she did to Jennifer and what she did to Marlena and John and really just so many of their loved ones and also that she wreaked havoc on the police station, she really is overcome with guilt over everything.”

Thankfully, there are a few people in Salem who are quite understanding towards Hope and her unique situation. Still, Hope doesn’t see it this same way. She still wants to fix what she broke and turn her wrongs into rights.
Carlivati added, “While people try to tell her, ‘You didn’t have a choice, there was something controlling you. This was not in your free will. You would never have done these things,’ she knows that one some level, she’s just like, ‘It was still me. I still did these things.’ So, she will be dealing with that.”
