NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that as we all know, Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) recently took Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) hostage in order to get hitched to his ‘Queen of the Night’ (how in the world did he come up with that nickname for her, anybody know?) which, if Marlena were completely braindead maybe that would work, but instead of doing things the old fashioned way, like bashing her in the head or gaslighting her and having her declared mentally incompetent, Stefano’s decided to use technology to his advantage and do things in such a way that can only be called a ‘techno-roofie’… excuse me while I barf.

He said that the chip that he would implant wouldn’t make her forget hubby John Black (Drake Hogestyn) but simply ‘open the door’ for her to get over him and be intimate with Stefano. Okay, I gotta say I’m not liking this new Stefano because I don’t think even OG Stefano would have gone that far. If Stefano wanted to be inimate with a woman he usually had no problem finding one to do it with, even if he did have to ante-up the money beforehand, from what I can tell, Stefano didn’t resort to these kind of tactics, not that he was a good guy by any stretch of the imagination but this was kind of beyond the pale disgusting.

Unfortunately, I missed the episode in which they actually did the implanting of this chip (If they even did it) but the fact that his mind even went there is quite depraved, even for a supervillain who literally took over someone’s body in order to come back from the grave. Okay, maybe it’s not that far fetched. Now that Stefano DiMera (Steven Nichols) 2.0 has taken over a new ‘host’ he’s really feeling his oats and thinking that he’s invincible. Being in Patch’s body and being a few decades younger has literally gotten him thing that he can do anything at all and get away with it, and that’s worrisome.

However it could also mean that Stefano has grown careless in his old, past his sell-by date age and is about to slip up on a grand scale and be defeated once and for all. Hoisted by his own petard would be a fitting end for a villain that managed to defy death itself. Stay tuned!!!
