ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that we get it, you’ve made little Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) Mom disappear so that now Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) can face some mid-life parenting challenges. Okay we get it, but Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) has not been confirmed as being dead, there is no body, and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) TRICKED HER INTO DISAPPEARING ANYWAY so unless he’s way more sinister than we’ve given him credit for, and actually had her murdered, then why on earth can’t little Violet recieve a phone call on her birthday?
She’s missing her Mom something terrible. Mommy has not been home for Christmas or Valentine’s Day and she is just languishing wonder what on earth happened to Hayden. Hayden is not the type of Mom to leave her little girl hanging (or at least she doesn’t stirke me as that type) forever and a day and what Mom worth her salt, besides those that are very, very dead, forgets their little girl’s birthday? NONE! Honestly, poor little Violet. In my opinion she got got the short end of the stick when it comes to her and her Mom. She’s so young, and she and Hayden were attached at the hip when they were together so for Hayden to just up and leave her for good with no communication whatsoever is a very, very stupid move!
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Give little Violet Finn a call from Mom!
Even if you weren’t going to go the phone call route, which would be very easy to do. All you would have to do is stick a scene in stating how excited little Violet was to recieve a phone call from her Mom that day. That’s literally all you have to do! You could even go a better technological route and have Hayden send her a text message or an email, or a e-birthday card! Not that a kid would have access to email but Finn would! And he would be happy to show his little girl what her Mommy had sent her! He’s struggling with Hayden’s absence too because Hayden has 6 years experience as a Mom and he has, what, maybe 2 months experience as a Dad? Come on!
At least have her send a gift! She could at least send her a birthday card and a gift and that would help little Violet immmensely but what little Violet really needs is some reassurance from her Mom. She needs to know that her Mom is alive and well and is working to get to a place in life so that they can be together again! Is that so much to ask for from a child? I don’t think so. I get that you’re really trying to bond Violet to her Dad, but does that have to come at the cost of her Mom? Hayden and Finn do not need to be married or be together or get in the way of ‘Fanna’ at all, in fact I thought she had excellent chemistry with Nik Cassadine myself, people can co-parent and not be involved with each you, you know! Ugh… just let her hear from her Mom on her birthday, okay writers? We just want to see little Violet happy. That is all.
