NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers star Wally Kurth (Justin Kiriakis) is showing his support for his co-stars. The actor echoed the sentiments of many after it was revealed that both Chandler Massey (Will Horton) and Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis) were pink slipped by the NBC soap. Here’s what he has to say.
When Chandler Massey reached out to his fan base on Twitter and said that he wished his tenure at ‘Days of Our Lives’ was not coming to an end, that’s when Wally Kurth responded with a few words of his own. The actor wrote, “These two wonderful actors and terrific young men, consistently gave their best and it made @nbcdays the best it’s ever been. I will truly miss working with them. And I look forward to their return. @ChandlerMassey@freddiemsmith.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans to also show support for Chandler and Freddie. Some comments have included, “As Wally said, they will return. Before long, the headline will be Chandler Massey and Freddie Smith Back at DAYS!’” along with, “Actors regularly leave and return and leave and return on DAYS. Both Chandler and Freddie have left and come back. It’s the nature of the business.”

Another fan wrote, “Wally is the ONLY actor on Days that consistently posts the praises of his work mates. Where are Deidre, Drake and Kristian when the shit hits the fan?”
With that said, we too, will be keeping our fingers crossed in the hopes that Freddie Smith and Chandler Massey will be returning to the canvas as Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis sooner rather than later. Until that happens, ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans will just have to keep turning in each and every day for all of the action!
