NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest a part of the fanbase is going to be very happy soon. In a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest, Paul Telfer (Xander Cook) teased what’s next for his character. Or, more accurately, what’s next for Xarah. For a while now, the sparks have been real between him and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). But, as with all pairings, there’s an obstacle sure to come. Here’s what you need to know.

In the interview, Telfer spoke about the pairing we’ve seen building for a while now. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Xander’s had a thing for Sarah. He even went so far as to pretend he’s Mickey’s father to help her out. We’ve seen some questionable things out of this guy, but no one can deny he’s trying his best to be a better person because of her influence. He’s also done the unthinkable just to protect her feelings. While we think the baby switch was misguided, it definitely came from a place of love. So, what’s next?

It seems all that hard work Xander put into self-improvement paid off. According to the interview, Sarah and Xander are about to become an official pairing. She’ll admit her love for Xander after a momentary temptation. Namely, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). It looks like they’ll get closer than ever, thanks to Mickey’s medical crisis. However, she reportedly will realize who really owns her heart.
The actor spoke a bit about what a moment it will be for his character when Sarah admits her love for him. And we’re totally on board with this. Get your hands on a copy of the magazine to see what Telfer had to say about the upcoming story. Sadly, we believe this will be a short-lived happiness.

We don’t see a good ending to this romance. As we mentioned, Xander stole Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) child to save Sarah the pain of losing Mickey to that accident. This became even more important to him knowing Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) caused the crash. However, it’s only a matter of time before this whole thing comes crashing down.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is now aware of who’s really to blame. He’s currently thinking about what to do after a hard sell from Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) about coming clean. Between this and the test for Mickey’s transplant, it’s only a matter of time before everything is out in the open. Such a lie will be hard to get over, but we do think Sarah can find it in her eventually.
