CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers finds that the same actor who played Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) on ‘Days of Our Lives'(DOOL), also played Massimo Marone, on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful'(B&B). Of course this got my speculative mind at work, and since we don’t really know much about Stefano’s past beyond that he was a wealthy businessman with ties to organized crime, then this next theory won’t be so wildly out there for some of you. If you’re an avid ‘Bold and the Beautiful'(B&B) fan, possibly an OG fan, from way back, then you’ll you’ll also recognize this story as very similar to Massimo Marone. A college acquaintance of both Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flanery).
Massimo Marone was Stephanie Forrester’s confidante for years, apparently he was the man she turned to when she was divorced from Eric the first time. Ridge felt animosity for him because at one time he arranged for Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to leave and go live in Paris. During Ridge’s accident it was discovered that Massimo was the real Father of Ridge amid a kerfuffle between he and Stephanie Forrester. It would seem that they had one been together in college, and that was how baby Ridge came about… woops!

If my theory is right and Stefano DiMera and Massimo Marone were the same person, then there is a very good possibility that he went to college with Eric and Stephanie Forrester. It would certainly make sense. Stefano was a rather cultured guy, and while he didn’t mention if he himself had ever went to college he certainly didn’t act like your average joe on the street. Since he couldn’t be with the one he really wanted to be with, which was Stephanie Forrester, he chose a life of crime and certain ladies of the night to keep him company. Minus the ladies of the night it almost sounds like Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is starting to take some pages out of his proverbial Grandpa’s book.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives'(DOOL) Spoilers: Could Thomas Forrester be the Grandson of Stefano DiMera?
There’s a headscratcher for ya! I’ve often compared Thomas’s wileyness to The Phoenix himself but when I made the comparison I had no idea that theory might actually come to being true. Whose to say that Stefano’s real identity wasn’t that of a wealthy businessman on the west coast who often ‘took time’ (ahem, all those fake deaths) away from Salem. While on the West Coast he was known as respectable Businessman Massimo Marone, Salem was the place he thought of as his playground, the place where he could put all his dark fantasies to the test and very well did.
Of course, from what I know (I’m a relatively new B&B viewer) Thomas never really got to meet his real Grandpa and is only acquainted with Eric Forrester in that role, but maybe that’s for the best. After all, if this theory is real, then it would seem that the blood cries out and the genes have spoken loudly enough for everyone to hear that Thomas is not a true Forrester after all, rather he is a Marrone, or maybe even a Dimera, depending on which way you look at it.
