There are new reports that suggest the palace is in disarray behind closed doors. That’s because just about everyone was left shocked after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they are stepping down as senior royals. The couple made their announcement on their Instagram account Wednesday afternoon.
As a matter of fact, BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond said that palace officials were feeling more than disappointed about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to throw in the towel. Dymond said, “I think it indicates a real strength of feeling in the palace tonight – maybe not so much about what has been done but about how it has been done – and the lack of consultation I think will sting. This is clearly a major rift between Harry and Meghan on one part, and the rest of the Royal Family on the other.”British Royal
