As we posted a little bit back, Finola Hughes recently shared a huge milestone. She earned her Director’s Guild card, and showed it off on Instagram to mark the new year. Her onscreen daughter, Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio-Drake) shared in the excitement. She’s had at least a couple of turns behind the camera already. Her Wikipedia says she’s already got two films under her belt. However, she’s about to do something a little different.

In that same post, she announced she’d directed an episode of the Freeform series, Good Trouble. The show is a spin-off of another series, The Fosters, and follows a couple of the characters as they navigate life as young adults. The episode will air tonight on the network, so check those listings. In the days leading up to the episode, she’s shared several posts about it, and the official Twitter for the series also shared a picture today of the actress-turned-director onset. To mark Finola’s primetime debut, she’s got something special for fans. The actress announced on her Twitter account she’ll live tweet during the East Coast feed at 10 PM EST.
