‘General Hospital'(GH) Spoilers: The last time we saw Dante Falconeri (Dante Zamprogna), things weren’t looking so good for him. He had just gone on a rampage and shot Peter August (Wes Ramsey) at the WSB facility. Granted, he was provoked by Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at the time, but the fact of the matter is, Dante was not at a point in his rehabilitation where he could be around normal people. This included his family, which included Mom Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), Dad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), the love of his life Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and his son Rocco Falconeri (O’neil Monahan). Most recently, Olivia got a heart-wrenching letter from Dante just before the holidays detailing how he was cutting all ties with everyone because he wasn’t getting better. This devastated both Olivia and Sonny, but ultimately they didn’t really go and do anything about it.

Since he couldn’t be deprogrammed that easily, I am thinking that the WSB is using him for another mission. He can’t be around other, civillian people right now but that doesn’t mean that they won’t use this to their advantage. Perhaps this programming is time-sensitive and once the time alotted for the ‘mission’ is over then he will snap out of it and come back to Port Charles. After all, Sonny technically interrupted the mission to go save him. Maybe that’s why re-intergration went so badly. Right now, he’s probably off completing assassin missions for the WSB. After all, they have targets in known, bad areas and his programming plus his penchant for survival could make him really useful to them.

In the days of the internet and crypto-currency, anything can happen. Dante could have fled the WSB facility upon finding ou that he wasn’t getting any better and ended up becoming a hitman all on his own. Being a former cop, I somehow doubt he would take up such a vigilante mantle without good reason but seeing as the WSB was the one that did this to him and their deprogramming wasn’t making him any better he probably felt really betrayed by them. So if he did escape then he’s using whatever they programmed into him as way to potentially get by.

We have yet to figure out who Peter August’s mystery partner is on GH, so there is a slim chance it could be Dante. What could his reasons be for partnering with such a dangerous criminal? Well, why not? And it doesn’t seem like he’s all too ken on WSB Agents anyway, in spite of his aunt and own Mother being one. It would make sense that he would stick it to them by using one of their own against them. This is pure speculation but hey, it’s Port Charles, anything is possible.

There is a chance. I have already posed the idea of a time sensitive deprogramming is possible. Of course by that time, Lulu will have probably moved on at least several times over and Rocco will probably be in college. I hope that Olivia and Sonny are still around to see their sons’ return. Maybe a second chance will happen for Lulu and Dante later on, when they’re older, heck, maybe they’ll have to wait until their twilight years to spend it together but anything is possible. They may not be as done as we think they are right now.
‘General Hospital'(GH) Spoilers: What is Dominic Zamprogna up to?
Looks like Dante’s real life counterpart is busying himself by being in the Amazon Prime series Tin Star about an ex undercover cop from the UK who’s doing all he can to protect his family from the people in power. With the exception of the whole UK thing, it sounds like something that Dante himself could be up to! However the role that Dominic is portraying is Estuardo, and I am pretty sure that’s not the titular role. The new season for Tin Star comes out on March 8th, 2020 so stay tuned!!!
