‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is about to face the worst battle of her life. It’s not enough that she is being forced away from one many while trying to make things work with another, but she’s also going to be hit with devastating news about her daughter, Baby Mickey. As many ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans already know, Baby Mickey’s biological father (supposed father, that is), Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) has given her an ultimatum. He told her that he will help raise their child under the condition that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) stays away for her. And for Sarah, this has been very hard, seeing how much Xander truly cares for the young tot.

Linsey Godfrey, who plays Sarah Horton on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “He was by her side. Even though they are not necessarily all the way together yet, they are two people who raised this baby together. It is this moment of recognizing that he needs this, as well. It’s so hard for Xander, my heart broke for the character because this is someone who lives this baby like it’s his. So it is a heartbreaking thing for this man who really doesn’t have any rights to this baby from her actual father, but also is a dad to this baby and has been.”

If that weren’t enough, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers also tease that Sarah is going to be hit with the kind of news that no parent wants to her: that her daughter has cancer and unfortunately, it’s the kind of cancer that is both scary and serious. With Eric battling Xander, she’s going to need everyone to calm down and give her all of the support she can get. Of course, fans will have to tune in for all of the action!
