British Royal Family News finds that Meghan Markle might have garnered plenty of fans throughout the years thanks to her role as Rachel Zane on ‘Suits’ and of course as the Duchess of Sussex, but there are some people out there that still aren’t impressed with her or her work. As a matter of fact, actress Stefanie Powers, who is best known for her role in ‘Hart to Hart’ recently had some rather strong things to say about Prince Harry’s wife and none of it was positive, too. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Fox News, Stefanie – who also happens to be a close friend of Prince Charles – thinks that the Duchess of Sussex should stick to being the wife or a member of the royal family and not trying to save the world. In fact, Stefanie thinks that Meghan should step back and focus more on family than fame.

“Meghan’s role is not about being a star,” the actress continued about the former actress. Those headlines saying she was Hollywood royalty marrying British royalty… She had a role in a TV show. Please, she’s obviously not a great actress. She’s not gotten in the role she has taken on. Grace Kelly did (when she married Prince Rainier of Monaco) but then she was Hollywood royalty — not a bit player in a minor television series.”
If that weren’t enough, Stefanie also said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shouldn’t be so focused on trying to change the rules and regulation of the monarchy, many of which the royal family members have had for centuries.
“It’s her job to be Harry’s wife, not change the royal dynamic,” added Powers. What’s more, Stefanie suggested that Meghan takes a page out of Queen Elizabeth’s daughter’s playbook when it comes to her role as a royal. The actress continued, “Look at [Charles’ sister] Princess Anne. I love Princess Anne. I know her. She is sensational. She is her mother’s daughter, totally committed to what she does. She has stepped back and doesn’t make a circus of life whenever she steps out. She’s the real thing. She’s kind of mischievous. She has a wicked twinkle.”
