‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Lani Dumping Eli Revisited – Did She Make the Right Choice?

Sal Stowers, who plays Lani Price on the hit NBC soap, told the publication, “Lani is questioning herself a lot. Questioning who she is as a cop, and if she made the right decision. She was trying to protect herself, but she ended up shooting an innocent man and that keeps playing in her head as well. If she would’ve given Vivian the opportunity to shoot her, Lani couldn’t been the one who died. She is a cop, she was doing her job, she did absolutely nothing wrong, but when you do shoot someone you can’t help but feel sympathy.”

So what is Gabi planning to do next? Get her revenge. While there certainly is a lot of tension between Lani and Gabi, Lani will try to take the high road in this. Sal adds, “Lani is very genuine and she’s very sincere and she wants to show Gabi how sorry she is and how she wishes she could make it better and that it wasn’t Stefan. She’s just trying to find some peace with Gabi, but it is very hard because Gabi looks at Lani as the bad person.”
