‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers for Thursday, October 31 indicate that this will be a special Halloween episode focusing on the five main characters and their nightmares. First we’ll begin with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll have some misgivings because Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) bailed on him and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) to go and watch a movie with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) instead.

While he understands that she wants to be there for both of her sons and with things going the way they have lately with Connor maybe he has a little bit of a priority, but at the same time it’ll make him wonder and worry because it looks like she’ll spend the night at Adam’s place and that will send his mind scurrying to all sorts of dark places, also the horror flick he has on TV won’t help matters at all.

‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick needs therapy
He’ll dream that Adam is dead, and while part of Nick is glad that Adam is out of the picture, he’ll be irritated at the fact that so many people are singing his praises post-mortem. Looks like Nick will also be wielding a knife in this episode and right now its unknown if he was the one who made the fatal blow that put Adam in the casket or not but one thing is for certain, Nick, you may want to talk to somebody about those issues you’re having. Geeze!

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have her own nightmare but it will be awful in an entirely different way. It looks like she’s finally achieved her dream of taking over Newman Enterprises but all that glitters is truly not gold. As soon as she shoots to the top she’ll have to deal with a crash so epic it’ll make her head spin. For Phyllis, this nightmare of failure is indeed worse than death. She’ll be left to figure out how to climb out of this bottomless pit all by her lonesome. Yike!

It looks like Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a decidedly less sinister, but just as crazy dream involving a time warp. It’ll involve Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Caille) and it’ll be something like an 80’s rom-com. My guess is that it’ll be sort of like Back to the Future but with a lot less of whatever was going on in that film, romance-wise. Maybe even a Heathers’ vibe going on? We’ll see!
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Is Abby That Girl? And Rey goes dark
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will have a dream that’s something like a 70’s-style sitcom. She’ll explore her privileged life and how much of her good fortune that she’s actually earned. There’ll be definite Mary Tyler Moore vibes going on. As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) we’ll see a film noir version of he and Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) relationship and may even explore what it would be like if Rey himself was a bad boy that all the girls wanted.
