No te Puedes Esconder spoilers: Mistaken identity

You might remember from last time that Daniel was worried about a strange person who entered the elevator with Mónica. It turns out the man was just another innocent patient, and Mónica is safe and sound with the nurse who took her for testing.

No te Puedes Esconder spoilers: Stubbornness killed the henchman

Meanwhile, Natalia is approached by the apparent ring leader of her kidnapping, who welcomes her back to her homeland. After he leaves, Natalia tries to break the windows, but Hugo (Adrian Ladron) enters and stops her. He reminds her that she’s on the eight floor, so there is nowhere to go. She starts on him about kidnapping people and how he’d feel if someone did that to his own family. He is clearly not 100% on board with this and is a potential weak spot in this whole plan against Natalia.

Throughout the episode he and another guy, Diego (Giuseppe Gamba),  try to get Natalia to eat. She refuses, but is warned that she’ll be force-fed if she doesn’t. It eventually comes to that, and Hugo doesn’t seem to appreciate the roughness with which Diego is handling her. He pulls the man off and gets him to leave.

Later, the boss wants a word. He is annoyed that Diego acted like an animal and says that he will need to behave in the future. However, the one he’s even angrier with is Hugo. He stopped Natalia from being force-fed. The boss hits him and promises another act like that means death.

When Hugo and Diego later bring food to her, she notices the injuries. Hugo says she’s going to eat now and they exchange a look. This time, she takes the food.

No te Puedes Esconder spoilers: Protection?

Laura has obtained yet another incriminating recording of Torres, something her boss, Ramirez, is still reluctant to act on. Even though Torres is heard arguing with Eli and saying he’s gotten people out of his way before, he thinks it’s not enough. He actually wants to know how she got it, as she was supposed to run everything by him first. She assures the boss she did her duty by getting the appropriate warrant.

Later, Laura visits Torres to play a recording his wife made and tells Torres he is suspect #1 in the death of his wife. When they leave, his campaign advisor asks them to leave by the back to avoid reporters seeing them making a new visit.

Later Ramirez meets with Torres’ campaign manager. Ramirez doesn’t like this situation. He’s assured that Torres will get far in politics, and that that Torres is an innocent man. The captain wonders why his hands are being tied, then. The campaign manager insists that this is about keeping Torres from slipping more than he already has. He promises that if Ramirez is good to the party, the party will be good to him. Ramirez swears that if there is any concrete evidence that points at Torres, there better not be repercussions for acting on it, or letting him know that Torres’ conversations are being recorded. Ramirez will destroy him, and not just politically.

No te Puedes Esconder spoilers: Warning

Elizabeth “Eli” Molina (Patricia Guirado) visits with Humberto (Juan Caballero) following her attack. She tells him about her relationship with Torres and how she’d broken things off. As Torres seemed happy, she tells Humberto that she’d called him out on it, and they fought. Later, she’d nearly been run over and then came home to find a note that says, “Shhh…”. It was accompanied by a flower that only he would know to give her. She tells Humberto that Torres is a dangerous man.

Later, thanks to one of Laura’s recordings, a warrant for Eli’s computer is used. She and her partner stop by to question Eli and look at the computer. Shortly, a few suspicious e-mail drafts are found and Eli is taken into the station.

No te Puedes Esconder spoilers: Sleeping with the enemy?

Back at Alex’s place, Mónica is recovering from her ordeal and is glad to be back with him. She thanks him for what he’s done, as Alex managed to find out that Natalia is still alive.

Later on, he asks Mónica if there is any news. She says no, and he steps aside to attend to a call. It seems that his exhibit has been burglarized and he needs to check on things. Mónica says she’s fine with staying behind while he tends to business.

Afterwards, Alex meets with Laura and tells her about the vandalized painting. She wonders if his girlfriend is wise to them and decided to do it in a jealous fit. He dismisses the idea. He turns the conversation to her work, which she won’t talk about. He claims he thought dating a cop would bring special privileges, but drops it. He believes everything gets leaked eventually. He is seriously looking creepier by the day.

No te Puedes Esconder spoilers: Lead

Ana (Bárbara Goenaga) meets with Mónica to give her news on Natalia, but she refuses to speak with Daniel present. He’s broken enough rules in this whole thing, and she wants to take over for now. She insists that if he doesn’t back off, she’ll have him arrested. Mónica assures Daniel she is fine talking to Ana alone, so he waits outside.

The news is, they’ve found the spot where Natalia was clearly taken. Her phone was found outside, broken. They also found a video. Ana wants Mónica to check it out and see if it’s really her daughter in it. Mónica agrees, and is clearly heartbroken to see her daughter introducing herself on the video.

After the meeting, she wants Daniel to accompany her to the site. He agrees and they do a little looking around. While Daniel has stepped away, a strange man approaches Mónica. He claims that he is lost and has a hurt companion that needs help. Daniel shows up and gets instantly nervous. He tells her to back away, which confuses Mónica. She tells Daniel what the man said and how they have to help him. He disagrees. The two men get into a fight, which Mónica breaks up by hitting Daniel. She wants to know what’s wrong with him. Daniel confesses that he knows this man is here to kill her, because Daniel was hired to do the same. While they’re talking, the other guy gets up and pulls out a gun.
