‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Brandon Barash (Stefan DiMera) Has Something Major To Celebrate!

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers find that’s right! Brandon Barash, one of our favorite stars, turned 40 years old on October 4th! He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and has shown off his talents ever since! Although, he never showed any interest in acting until high school when he decided to break into the performing arts.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Barash’s Past

As we celebrate Brandon’s birthday, we think about what he would have been had he not gone into acting. He wanted to be a cardiac surgeon! That’s right! Crazy to think that this soap star had his eyes on being in a hospital and never on the soaps! We know that we are glad that he made the choice to be an actor!

He ended up getting his BFA in Acting from USC and then decided to start auditioning for any acting jobs that he could get. He was happy to land a part on the Gilmore Girls and then appeared on West Wing and NCIS. His first major soap opera role was in 2007 on ‘General Hospital’, as Johnny Zacchara.

Barash stayed with General Hospital until 2013 and then made some appearances in 2014 and 2016. This year, in March, he began appearing as Stefan DiMera on ‘Days of Our Lives’. This role has been quite a great one for him and also has opened many other doors for him with his acting.

‘Days of Our Lives’: Barash Close-Up

Barash has done more than just act in soap operas; he did many episodes of Major Crimes and some guest starring spots on Bones, Scorpion, and The Last Ship. He used to be married to Kristen Storms (Maxie Jones, General Hospital). They have a daughter named Harper Rose. We are so happy to wish him a great 40th birthday and many more to come!
