For the longest time Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) seemed like a decent enough guy who didn’t want to overstep his boundaries. After all, he was in love with his brother’s fiancé but was too scared to say anything out loud about it. As a matter of fact, it tortured him inside as he knew that he is the one man in Salem that could make Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) happy.

Well, all of that is definitely done and said in the past as Eric has clearly moved on with his life. He and Sarah were only together for one hot minute before the real Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) appeared and claimed back her man. But there’s only one problem: Sarah is pregnant with Eric’s baby. Regardless of whether or not he knows this, it didn’t take very long for him to pull the plug on his romance with Sarah just so he could hop back into bed with Nicole Walker.

Clearly this is something you would expect Xander Cook to do, right? Well, this time around it’s Xander who is actually playing house and giving Sarah the comfort she needs while Eric is treating her like she is old news. And just to think, this is the same guy who felt guilty for loving his brother’s wife. It’s safe to say that feeling didn’t last very long for him, right? Clearly, Eric Brady is the new Xander Cook in Salem. When it comes to who he wants to be with, one day you are in, while the next day you are out!
