‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 12 finds Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) making an offer to Devon Hamilton. He also tells Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) something very unexpected. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tells Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that he’s handling matters while Adam wants his son to live with him.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 12: Adam Makes Devon A Deal He Can’t Refuse!
It begins at Society, where Phyllis is quite impressed with the interior. Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is there and talks about what happened between Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) the other night. Abby thinks Theo was the one who was trying to start all of the drama. Phyllis puts Summer in her place and tells her that she needs to start acting like an adult and that she doesn’t need any drama at her own opening.

However, Phyllis does hint that she thinks Abby might be jealous of Summer. Abby defends herself by saying she’s more interesting in building an empire and not posting selfies on social media. Abby then takes a jab at Phyllis and says that almost everyone in Genoa City doesn’t respect her. Phyllis walks off.
At home, Nick calls Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). He admits that he didn’t sleep and was worried about her and Connor. She tells him everything is fine. Later on Chelsea can’t help but smile while she sees Connor bonding with his father. Adam then thanks her for doing such a great job raising him. Adam also says that Connor needs his dad and wants them to move in with him. Chelsea tells him that he’s still a stranger to Connor but Adam defends himself and says that it’s time for him to rebuild his family.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Continues To Battle His Health
Adam also admits that he doesn’t want to go through yet another court battle. Connor is there and can sense that something isn’t right. Devon shows up. Adam tells him that he’s got an offer and wants to sell him Grand Phoenix. Devon can’t help but wonder why he’s not going to Phyllis first. Adam admits that it’s too much of a risk with Phyllis and wants to offer it to him instead.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor is battling his health. He can barely keep his head up. Nick arrives. Nick tells Victor that it was Phyllis who helped Victoria get the real estate back. Nick also says that he’s glad to have gotten a clean slate out of the deal. They talk about Victor’s health and then about the court battle for Christian. Nick admits that he was blindsided by Adam. After Nick leaves Victor gets on the phone and shouts that his grandson’s future depends on the deal being made.
Abby then arrives at Victor asks her about personal matters. Abby admits that she’s working with Phyllis and that she’s in control. Victor laughs when she says that after working with her father, she can work with just about anyone. Victor then admits that he made a mistake with Adam.
Adam arrives at Dark Horse. He tells Phyllis about the deal he made with Devon. Phyllis can’t believe he did that behind her back. Adam says that soon enough he’s going to be on top of the world.
