It all began when Chrishell confessed that if there’s one person she can’t live without (other than her husband Justin Hartley, of course), it’s Melissa. She wrote on Twitter, “I have a strange relationship with Melissa Claire Egan. I get excited when she’s not working and we get to hang. But now I am watching The Young and the Restless and she isn’t on and I’m annoyed. Guess Chelsea is out enjoying her 5mil.”
Referencing the inheritance that her character Chelsea received from her late husband on the show, Melissa wrote back, “OMG I love you. Drinks on Chelsea next time!”

Of course, this isn’t the first time that the two actresses have declared their love for one another on social media! They often hang out with their partners, as Justin Hartley is also very close with Melissa. Many fans still remember how his character Adam Newman had a rollercoaster relationship with Chelsea Newman before he left the show. The character is now played by actor Mark Grossman.
