‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Stefan Gets His Revenge!

‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) drives a hard bargain. Also, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) breaks down over her obviously doomed relationship with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Eli Grant and Lani Price (Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers) upset Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) pulls a surprising move. In case you missed it, let’s get to the day’s ‘Days of Our Lives’ recap.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Stefan Gets His Revenge!

Jack is ready to strike a deal, but it’s going to be on his terms. Apparently, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) doesn’t like that he wants her to stay locked up while he confirms the location of Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and her child, as well as Dr. Wilhlem Rolf (William Utay). Kristen outright refuses to sign any deal that doesn’t set her free right away. She reminds him how she holds the key to his memories returning.

Jack might not remember anything about his past, but that doesn’t mean he’s a sucker. He calls her bluff and says he won’t give her that unless she’s willing to show some good faith. He refuses to back down from that position, and Kristen ultimately blinks. Way to go, Jack.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: On the trail

Now that Jack knows that the ones they’re looking for are in Chicago and he’s got an address, Jack plans to go there to retrieve them. He drops by the loft to tell JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) this, who happens to be with Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). Upon hearing this, she basically railroads Jack into letting her come, then informs them they’re picking someone up on the way.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Resignation

Sarah is facing facts and decides to get real with Eric Brady. She feels maybe it’s best to end things now because she knows that his heart is never going to be hers if Nicole’s in the picture. Eric feels terrible, but he needs to know the truth. They don’t seem to officially break up yet, as Eric gives her a kiss of the forehead before he leaves to join Jennifer and Jack in Chicago. When she’s alone again, she breaks down in tears. We almost feel bad for her. Almost. Honestly, we feel worse for Eric because he seems to be the writers’ favorite punching bag.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Emancipation

Julie is absolutely thrilled she is now free of Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) after Chloe left for the opera job. She’s seriously dancing around Doug’s Place and tells Lani and Eli that she is, “Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, I’m free at last.” She explains that Chloe drove her nuts at times with her work ethic and all and she wants to celebrate her emancipation. Eli and Lani don’t think this is cute.

The conversation that devolves into a bunch of talk about racism, cultural appropriation, and Julie’s need to choose her words carefully. Julie reads between the lines and is horrified to think they’re essentially calling her racist. They swear up and down it’s not the case, but we kind of side with Julie here. They were a little harsh, and the implication was there.

DOOL Spoilers

It actually felt like a couple lecturing a small child, but Julie was a grown woman marching for civil rights before they were even a spark in someone’s eye. Wow. Did we just side with Julie on something? It just got cold somewhere…

When they situation supposedly is resolved and Julie was sufficiently cowed, she is ready to talk about their engagement party. She’s upset again to learn they don’t want to have it at Doug’s Place and thinks it’s because they believe she’s racist. They swear that’s not it, and point out the bad history of such parties here, including John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) latest. Lani’s superstitious and worries about the bad energy. Julie suggests smudging, but we don’t know yet if they’ll go along.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Two choices

Kate takes her rightful place at the DiMera mansion, much to Stefan and Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) annoyance. They can’t believe she is the new CEO and are prepared to fight. Gabi even points the ridiculousness of Kate being in charge after what she did (so agreed here. That was a very bad move, PR-wise and will make the shareholders nervous when all the details come out).

Kate says this is a done deal and they can’t do a thing to stop it, and asks if they would rather work for Kirsten. They eventually back off, but this isn’t settled.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: That escalated quickly

Later on, Stefan comes in with a gun found in Kate’s things. It’s supposedly the same one she’d used to kill his mother and he wants it. She agrees to let him have it, at which point, he turns the thing on her and says he’s planning to take care of her in the same manner.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Goodbye, Julie?

Going back to Julie a minute, Eli and Lani also brought up the way she refers to Gabi at times as well, so Julie decides to seek out Gabi and try making amends. The thing is, Gabi’s already in a mood after learning she’s working for Kate. She doesn’t care to hear what Julie has to say.

Eli and Lani managed to make her feel so guilty, she actually chases Gabi down to try apologizing and gets very emotional as they talk. She ends up grabbing her arm and breathing weird, but Gabi’s not impressed. She’s thinking she’s a faker. Could this be goodbye? And with Eli already second-guessing their decision to confront her, will he blame himself for this?
