‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for August 2nd, 2019 indicate that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will have a hard time backpedaling against her words! We all know that yesterday, while in the middle of ‘bonding’ as husband and wife, Sarah returned Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) overture of love with the wrong name! At first, Sarah tries to play it off as just a slip of the tongue, but Rex isn’t buying it. He will see through it and realize that it’s Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) not him, that she truly wants to be with.

She thought that she could grin and bear it through the marriage, but seriously, this is modern day and what modern woman actually does that? She tells Rex that while she still cares for him, she’s not in love with him, which is a crushing blow to their brand new marriage. Of course Rex is deeply hurt by this and gets angry with her for marrying him when her vows weren’t even real. As many mistakes as he’s made in the past, we can’t even argue with him here. Ouch!

Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) was having a good time in Ted Laurent‘s (Giles Marini) apartment snooping around until he came home and ruined the party. Now she’ll have some ‘splainin’ to do! But she won’t be the only one, she’ll turn the tables on him and demand to know where all the cold hard cash came from just lying around in his apartment.
This will lead to some tense moments between the couple as they bicker back and forth over the secrets that their harboring. Hope is a good cop and won’t stop until she has the information that she wants, but do her interrogation techniques really stand up against a very real threat against a man’s life? Get ready for the tension to escalate between those two! Will this be the end of Ted and Hope? We wonder!
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Battle of the Brides round 1 goes to – Gabi!
Over at DiMera Enterprises, the battle of the Brides is underway. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will be trying to put her best foot forward so that Mr. Shin (Michael Hagiwara) will choose her instead of scheming ‘Nicole’ Walker (Arianne Zucker) Due to the fact that Gabi is already at DiMera, and has proven to be a very hard worker, launching the uber successful ‘Gabi Chic’ line, she’s the one who wins out over ‘Nicole’. Who, as we all know, couldn’t even be bothered to show up for work when appointed head of Basic Black.
This will be a crushing blow for Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) who wanted to win this round so that she could take over DiMera. However it’ll be an answer to Gabi’s prayers because this is exactly the move she needs in order to take down Stefan! Stefan’s not going to have it easy this week though, so in spite of her plans, some very real feelings might get in the way and she might just hold off on the final blow to Stefan just yet. Or will she? Stay tuned!!!
