‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 16 find Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) warning that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will deliver the drama if he attends the Newman family dinner with his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Also, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) thinks Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) plans with Chelsea are a good idea while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) makes some plans for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes a deal.
‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers, Tuesday July 16: Victor Excludes Adam, Prodigal Son Turns Into Family Pariah!
It begins with Billy sleeping on the sofa. He wakes up when he realizes that he had a nightmare about his daughter Delia. Elsewhere, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) tells Nick that Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) might have had his issues in the past, but he’s a changed man. He used to be involved in shady business deals, which included money laundering. Nick wants Rey to continue investigating until he finds a connection to Adam. Rey takes a phone call from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Also, Nick thinks that Chelsea is finally “seeing it” and thinks that the judge will see it, too.
Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) and Victor meet up at Crimson Lights. Victor senses that Nikki has something to say. Nikki thinks that they should have a family dinner. Victor doesn’t think it’s a good idea to include Adam at this point.

At Society, Cane tells Jill all about his new work. He will be in New York with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). She is going to meet a publisher about her book. Jill thinks that Traci might be putting details about his private life on display. Cane thinks he’s just an inspiration to her. Billy then arrives but doesn’t like what he hears and thinks that Cane is acting like a distraction to his sister. Billy storms off but Cane knows why he is being overprotective.

Back at home, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) notices that Traci is in a good mood. They talk about her success as Traci tells Jack that he should keep his chin up. Cane then shows up and asks Traci if she has second thoughts about her trip. She finds out about Billy and what he says and assures him that all will be fine.
At Nick’s house, Chelsea is on the phone. Victor appears. Chelsea explains that she did everything she could to protect her son. She doesn’t want him to know that Adam is alive. Victor understands her, which surprises Chelsea. After Nick arrives, Victor invites the both of them to the Newman family dinner. Chelsea doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Adam to be at the dinner.
Billy is at Crimson Lights. He sees Jack who is sulking by himself. He tells him that now is the best time to visit Ashley in Paris to see how the competition is doing.
