‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers that Gordon Thomson is leaving Dynasty and is Joining the Young and the Restless. One of our favorite nighttime soaps was Dynasty! The characters were unforgettable and so were the actors. It is to our great delight to tell you all that one of our favorite actors from that show is joining the Young and the Restless! Gordon Thomson will be joining the cast as Daryl Tulane. It is unclear how many episodes he will be on, but we know that they will begin to air on July 29th.

On Dynasty, Thomson played Adam Carrington. You may also notice him from the soap Ryan’s Hope. He also starred on Sunset Beach, Santa Barbara, Passions, and Days of Our Lives. When you look at his track record on soaps, he has almost done it all! He has done quite a bit of Canadian television and is very excited to get back into doing American soaps.
Heading to Genoa City has been something that Thomson has always wanted to do and now it is time! His character is new and we have heard from many of our sources that this character has some sort of connection with Chelsea. We are unsure if it is romantic or if Daryl Tulane is a blast from her past! What could it be? We know we are extremely excited to find out what is up with Tulane! With Chelsea’s husband death fresh in everyone’s minds, and the timing of this announcement, could Daryl have some sort of connection to Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) or, worse yet, his death?

‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Dynasty Controversy
There was quite a controversy surrounding him in 2017 when he announced that he is gay. He never had opened up about his sexuality before and he was ready to tell the world of it. It is ironic because Adam Carrington was homophobic on Dynasty. He said that he was very afraid of coming out in the 80’s and was very unsure what that would have done to his career. He is very open about it now and is a big gay activist in the world of television today.
We are not able to fill you all in on what will happen on the Young and the Restless as of yet, but you can bet that if Chelsea is involved, it will be exciting and filled with drama!
