‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers for Friday, July 5th indicate that Genoa City will be down by one resident, and it seems that Calvin Boudreau’s (John Burke) number is up. Poor Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be in for a nasty surprise when she finds her new husband dead on the floor of their hotel room.

She tries to get help for him by calling 911, but unfortunately, she’s too late. Calvin’s spirit has already shuffled off this mortal coil. Chelsea will be in total shock, she hadn’t counted on her husband dying! She gives Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a call for moral support and he comes running, they will embrace as her hubby is carted off on a stretcher. Poor Chelsea!

‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers:Where there’s a will there’s a – possible murder?
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will show up a few moments later, along with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stratford) and he is none-too-pleased to see Nick with his arms around Chelsea. The strange thing about this scene is that there are no signs of foul play, it just looks like Calvin had a horrible medical crisis of some kind and left his earthly station. It makes no sense to her, or anyone else for that matter.
However, things are not always as they seem. Genoa City bears host to tons of characters that could have possibly bumped off Calvin, and where there’s a will there’s a way. Undoubtedly there’s more to the story, but we shall have to stay tuned for that. Meanwhile, Chelsea doesn’t want to be left alone so she goes to spend the night at Nick’s, which will undoubtedly have Adam champing at the bit.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Billy’s got a gun
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will spend some time with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at the carnival, which may bring back a sense of deja-vu for him. No word on what that actually is yet, or if it has anything to do with the gun he was seen with at the Abbot Mansion.
It could have something to do with the fact that he promised Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that he would make sure that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) came home to her. Of course, Chloe doesn’t want him bringing Kevin home atany cost, I think she stops short of murder, but it would seem that Billy may not. Will he wind up having to use it or will Kevin go home without a fight? Stay tuned!
