‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers: Taking chances
Dev proves old habits die hard today as he spots Laura Webber’s (Genie Francis) purse unattended at the Metro Court. After a quick check, he “accidently” knocks the purse down before trying to lift her wallet from the ground. Lucky for Laura (and Dev) Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) spots him.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Maxie’s meddling makes things worse as Dante shoots Peter
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) comes along just after Jason has intervened, but Stone Cold is no rat. He neglects to mention Dev’s act, but does express concerns later that he might not be up to the challenge that Sonny’s put before him. It seems Carly might be inclined to agree, but we’ll get to that later.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Mercy
Knowing Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard ) desire to help, Jason decides to help Sonny by confronting Dev later. He points out that Dev tried to rip off the mayor of the city. Bottom line for Jason is, Dev’s stepped into a whole new world and he needs to think before he acts. He has no need to revert to his base survival instincts, as he has someone willing to provide for and protect him. He just needs to decide what he wants. It looks like Dev is willing to give things a go Jason’s way.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Mirror image
Carly goes to Sonny to express concern herself, and he seems to agree to a point. He still feels a need to help this kid, and it’s not just because of Dev’s help in Turkey. He sees a lot of himself in the kid. Carly has to agree that they are definitely similar, and it looks like they’re just going to roll with this whole passing off Dev as family thing.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Unexpected news
Unaware she was almost robbed while off taking a phone call, Laura returns to her table and is joined by Hayden. Laura Is shocked the two-time embezzler was put in charge of a company’s finances (okay, she puts it slightly more politely), then apologizes. Hayden admits she made some mistakes she doesn’t feel good about, which leads Laura to concede that the money was returned quickly.
While they speak, we learn that Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) is nursing a skiing injury and is growing more by the day—his voice is changing, too. Please, writers… don’t be setting us up for a new one. We love this kid. Anyway, Valentine Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) taking the family home and Spencer’s hate comes up as well, as does Nikolas Cassadine (Nick Stabile). Laura apparently believes that there was good deep inside him, and she believes he would’ve shown it had he been given the chance.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: We told her so
It turns out that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) didn’t witness Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) killing himself or the agent. He actually shot Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie’s in a complete panic and demands he be brought to GH for a second opinion, as she doesn’t trust the people of the WSB. Turns out that the WSB’s assessment was right: it was a clean wound, no vital veins/organs hit, so no surgery required. Peter is stitched up and totally fine, but Maxie is a mess. She (rightly) blames herself for what happened, and chastises herself for poking around where she doesn’t belong. Later, she apologizes to Peter, who tells her that he made his own choice to go. Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) might be another story…
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Enough already
Probably partially egged on by Maxie and Laura, Lulu goes to Sonny for help. She cries on his shoulder about how nothing feels right. She wants him to find Dante for her, as he’d been able to do it once before. With everything that had happened, she can’t take all the uncertainty in their situation. She has NO idea. Later, she hears about Peter getting shot and rushes to GH to be by Maxie’s side. Maxie is forced to admit that she managed to get into the WSB, and that Dante is the one who shot Peter.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Brotherly skepticism
Ava Jerome (Maura West) is feeling pretty good about her Crimson cover, although still a little wary of how it will ultimately come out. She’s also excited about her appointment with Sibley Gamble (Veronica Cartwright). Julian Jerome (William deVry) is skeptical, and warns her that she could be getting taken for a ride. Ava counters that she wants to get in touch with her spiritual side and needs the closure. Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) overhears this and offers encouragement. According to everything she’s heard, Sibley is the real deal. Kristina’s also more open to this sort of thing because of a roommate who is into the occult.
