‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) at odds, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) going over the edge, suspicions all around, and worry for the unholy duo. If you missed the action, let’s get to the Days of Our Lives highlights.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Poisonous duo
Kate and Ted are not exactly making the most of each other’s company while being held captive by Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). In fact, they’re outright hostile. Well, at least Kate is.
One conflict comes from the food Xander left. Kate thinks Ted is an idiot if he eats it, because the food will obviously be poisoned to make their deaths look natural. Ted laughs at the idea that a natural death would occur in the DiMera tunnels. Kate eventually relents and eats some of the food, at which point Ted decides to get some laughs. After she’s eaten at least some of the food she grabbed, he starts pretending to choke and be sick. Kate doesn’t find his joke amusing in the least.

Their other point of contention comes from Ted’s escape plan. He’s hinging it all on Hope seeing the necklace Xander gave Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), and Kate thinks Hope’s detective skills leave a lot to be desired. We’re with you, girl. Although, you really should see her out of office. If she’d been fired years ago, she might have busted some criminals and made it stick by now. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Ted and Hope are about to see some steamy hookup action, so all this petty bickering is serving as foreplay while their attraction to each other amps up!
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Mystery to solve
Speaking of our former commish, she’s definitely latched on to that necklace. When Hope explains that it’s identical to one Ted tried to give her, Sarah is doubtful, yet somewhat suspicious. She explains that she knows nothing other than Xander gave it to her as a wedding present. Hope decides a visit to Casa Kiriakis to ask the man himself about that gift is in order.

Speaking of Xander, he’s currently with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). She is still concerned about any potential loose ends, namely where Kate is buried and where her phone is. She’s also concerned that someone might be going soft. Xander says he just doesn’t like doing her dirty work, but assures her that he obviously kept the phone. Said phone, in fact, gets a text from Rex taking Kate up on the offer to hold a party for their wedding. Kristen orders him to send a message from “Kate” that she’s out of town.
They might need impersonation lessons. Not only did Hope find “Ted’s” goodbye text strange, but Rex feels something is off about “Kate’s” text as well. He thinks it was too cold sounding, and didn’t include any xoxoxo, which Kate always uses. Maybe there is hope for the captives yet.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Over the edge
Claire is officially ready for Bayview, and many know it now. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) are told by Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) that Claire attacked him. In the process, Tripp fell and hit his head. And we question any medical training Marlena might have gotten, because despite knowing he has a bad head wound, she doesn’t keep any kind of pressure over the injury while they wait for assistance to arrive.
Not trusting Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva), Hope is informed instead, as well as Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). He’s asked to keep thinks on the downlow.
Hope is shocked to learn what happened, and they immediately set to work figuring out where Claire went, as her car is missing. Eli eventually pulls up some footage showing that she must be heading toward the cabin, and Ben thinks it makes sense. Returning to the scene of the crime and all.
Claire, meanwhile, is ranting and raving at Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) about having everything, being too superior, and the pain she deals with from always coming in second. Ciara tries to reason with her and swears she’ll do everything in her power to get Claire the help she so badly needs. Claire thinks her life is over already, so why not take the source of her pain with her? Claire, after confessing everything and calling Ciara out for trying to trick her into a confession before, douses the bed and pulls out a lighter.
