‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Too Evil To Kill Off – Jon Lindstrom Teases What’s Next For Ryan Chamberlain!

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that star Jon Lindstrom has had such a great time playing the evil Ryan Chamberlain that he wouldn’t mind doing it again! As a matter of fact, the talented actor says that if the producers of the hit ABC soap were to call him again, he would say yes almost immediately. Here’s what you need to know.

General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Jon Lindstrom Opens Up About His Second Chance, Teases What’s Next For Ryan Chamberlain!

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Jon says that he’s had a great time reviving his old character so much so that he would like to make it into a full-time gig. That is, if the right storyline comes along. Ryan also says that he was pretty surprised by how many viewers were so excited to see him back on the canvas.

“The biggest surprise was not just the popularity — which has surprised me! — but how well people remembered him,” the actor marveled. “I got tweets, Facebook messages and all sorts of things on social media sent to me saying, ‘I remember when [Ryan’s reign of terror] was first going on, and I’m so happy to see it again. It’s even better this time. I’m having such a good time watching you.’ That really caught me off guard, because it was 25 years ago. That tells me that the core audience of General Hospital is still watching!”

With that said, Jon admitted that he would love to see Kevin’s evil twin return to Port Charles sometime soon. “Rarely,” he said with a grin, “do you get to play a part that’s so colorful and so full of delicious twists and turns.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Ryan, Too Evil To Kill Off?

Seeing how he’s already bee resurrecting several times, we have a feeling that might happen. After all, there are plenty of Ryan fans who would love to see him continue all of his dirty and evil deeds, right? For now we will just have to wait and see what happens next. Of course, General Hospital spoilers tease that Ryan is about to bust out of Pentonville with the wickedly sinful Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) to unleash a wave of vengeance on Port Charles unlike anything ever seen before!

Also, based on Jon comments, it sounds like Ryan might not meet his end at the hands of the ruthless Nelle, although that is simply speculation. We don’t know for sure what faith has in store for Ryan, but we bet that producers love keeping that card hidden to play it when the time is right. Ryan is one of daytime television’s most notorious villains, so it would seem illogical to totally cast him off for good. Also, it’s possible that at least one or a few casualties are still in the book for the upcoming hellish onslaught.
