It’s without a doubt that Joshua Morrow (Nicholas ‘Nick’ Newman) has, is, and will always be considered one of the hottest men on daytime television. He might be a The Young and the Restless veteran at this point, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t pulses racing each and every time he’s on the canvas. As a matter of fact, the handsome actor recently opened up about his fitness regime and how he likes to ‘keep up’ with his younger counterparts, so to speak.
The Young and the Restless Star Joshua Morrow Opens Up About His Fitness Regime
Speaking to CBS’ Watch! magazine, Joshua said that through activities such as SoulCycle and soccer, his active lifestyle gives him both the core values and exercise power he needs to keep up with his hectic day-to-day life. As many fans know, the daytime television world is a very fast one that forces actors to keep up with a very demanding film schedule.
Joshua told the publication that his wife Tobey Keeney was the first person to get him into SoulCycle. He said, “My wife got me into SoulCycle and now we go together. She was really into it and I said, ‘Well I should try this. How hard could it really be?’ It whooped my butt! I was terrible and I was sitting in the back. Now I’m that front-row guy. ‘Let’s go!’”
Joshua also adds that he still loves playing soccer, which is a sport that he excelled at during his school years. He said, “My passion was soccer growing up and I still play twice a week. I still play all my favorite sports. I can’t play basketball on outdoor courts like I used to. I played on blacktop courts four days a week for 10 years. The hard courts eat your limbs, so my knees are kind of busted up. But I still wear basketball shorts and a tank-top everyday. If a game breaks out when I walk out of this building, I’ll be ready to play!”
