‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Haley’s Problems Go From Bad To Worse, Days In Salem Numbered?

Hayley is shocked by the news that Marlena is in seriously condition, and even more shocked when she finds out that it’s due to treats she supposedly left. Despite Eli Grant’s (Donnell Turner) best bad cop routine, she flat-out denies that she had anything to do with this. She challenges him to examine anything she’s written and he’ll see it’s not her handwriting. He promises to do just that.

Later JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) shows up with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). He implores Hayley to hear him out and let Justin help her. Hayley is confrontational, but when Eli arrives to take her to her arraignment in the immigration issue, she quickly says “yes” when Eli asks if Justin is her lawyer. Imagine how much trouble could have been avoided had a certain older sister done this years ago…

In related news, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is still trying to figure out how anyone knew about Hayley hiding there. Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) is trying to pin the blame on Ciara when the girl herself walks in and wants to know what they’re talking about. When Tripp questions her and Claire suggests that Ciara might have done so to help her relationship with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), Ciara gets the afore-mentioned “bitch, please” look. She takes it to even higher levels when Claire then tries to pin the blame on an elderly neighbor who’s apparently a real grump. Tripp chooses to believe Claire’s just trying to help, and Claire leaves. This is when Ciara wins the episode even more. She calls Tripp out for believing that performance and reminds him of Claire’s known past sneaky moves to get what she wants, as well as her known insecurity. She says that Claire is capable of some pretty shady stuff if she’s feeling threatened. And we applaud her for saying what we were thinking.

Also clearly worried and trying to cover her tracks is Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman). She’s arrived at the hospital, pretending to be concerned. Really, she’s just trying to feel out if the cops are buying the Hayley set-up. When John excuses himself to find out what’s going on with Marlena’s tests, Diana stays behind and muses about needing to finish the job.

Surprise

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has woken up to the very unpleasant surprise of Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) in his bedroom. People, what did we tell y’all about life in that mansion? Seriously. Lock. your. doors. Anyway, Leo (obviously) has an agenda: he wants Brady to hire him at Titan. Brady has the expected reaction to that and basically says “hello, no”. Leo announces they’re half-brothers to try to sway him, but Brady doesn’t give any you-know-whats. As far as he’s concerned, Leo is not to be trusted. Later on, he goes to John and asks about this, shocked that Leo is actually telling the truth.

Also surprised by this is Sonny and Will. Leo revealed their relation after Sonny basically demanded a divorce and for Leo to get packing. This was after, by the way, proposing that all three of them get involved. Ick? We guess a guy’s gotta try and survive somehow now that there’s no leverage to hold over Sonny and Will’s head. We can’t wait to see Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aston) reaction to this.
