‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers impart that there’s a big war brewing in Salem between Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and the tag team duo of Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini), some confusion for Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), heroics from Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher), and we’re sensing trouble ahead for someone else. In case you missed Days of Our Lives, let’s go ahead and go over some highlights in your Days of Our Lives recap for the day.
Days of Our Lives Recap: Chloe’s Smooth Move
As you remember, Stefan and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) were at the mercy of thugs trying to avenge the death of El Fideo. Stefan had managed to scare one off by invoking his dad’s name, but the other was more than happy to call the bluff. That turned out to be a costly mistake for him. Despite Stefan slipping enough to not disarm the guy (or check if he’s still alive or not), Stefan only takes what looks like a minor shot to the arm before once again getting the upper hand.
Before the man dies, he promises Chloe that her kids will never be safe. Chloe, for her part, was pretty useless, as she just stood there with an open-mouth stare while Stefan fought to save her and himself. Chloe, next time it might be a good idea to get proactive and help by grabbing something to knock the assailant out and help your would-be protector.
Anyway, the guy is dead and the Lani Price (Sal Stowers)/Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) duo are soon on the scene, having had their private time interrupted by the shooting report. They take statements, force Stefan to go to the hospital (because him dying there would lead to a lot more paperwork), and Chloe is promised protection. She seems to be learning toward getting the hell out while the getting is good…
Also relating to this is Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who got the call about the shooting while trying to persuade Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) to forgive Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). She’s still not ready to forgive him not believing her, but that may change after Julie got that call. Before she left, she says this shows the world is a dangerous place and you should hold on tight to things and people that make you happy.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cluing In
Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was surprised to see Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) when the begging finally paid off and the blindfold keeping Ciara in the dark was taken away. She’s still confused as to what is going on, and Jordan is refusing to untie her, which makes it even worse. Soon, Jordan is ranting about her evil brother, and how Hope failed to put him away, so now it’s up to her because she won’t let anyone else be hurt again. Ciara realizes that Jordan is the one who actually kidnapped her, and begs Jordan to let her go. Jordan says she’ll just go back to Ben if she does and leaves Ciara alone.
At the same time, Ben is still arguing with Hope and Ted about their methods and insisting on his innocence. They just keep on accusing him, and he demands they arrest him if they have any proof. Knowing they don’t, they’re chased off, but not before Hope makes it clear that she is sure it was him, and he better not harm a hair on Ciara’s head.
Later, Ben spots an undercover cop tailing him and tells the guy he knows what’s up. He tells the man very helpfully that he can be assured Ben is heading right back to his room before suggesting the man get to work actually searching for Ciara. Back at his room, he tries to reach her, but Ciara is unable to reach the phone to answer. He promises to find her in a message.
At the end of the episode, Jordan shows at Abigail Deveraux’s door. Oh, this can only end well…
Also today: Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) is trying to get Chad to stay on and fight, but Chad makes it clear his family is more important to him than his legacy. They get the news about Stefan being shot and could care less. We really feel the brotherly love here…
