Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ben and Chad, Salem’s Only Competent Taskforce Saves the Day – Jenny Come Lately Hope Still Doesn’t Trust Ben

Days of Our Live spoilers relate that Valentine’s Day is the day of love, but Thursday in Salem was about the drama just as much as any romance. In case you missed all the Days of Our Lives spoilers, let’s catch up up on some of the highlights in your Days of Our Lives recap.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Love Undercover

While Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is presumably keeping the hubby busy (we still can’t wait to see what she’ll do, btw), Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) takes the chance to meet up with Will Horton (Chandler Massey) for some alone time. We question the wisdom of Will actually going to Casa Kiriakis, but what can ya do? They check into a hotel under “Justin Bieber” and we are cracking up at that. Apparently, someone panicked when it was time to sign in. When they’re finally behind the closed doors of a hotel room, Will gives a card dated for 2020 to Sonny that talks about how great the past year together, and we have to congratulate him. His manifestation game is strong. Let’s see if it actually works and they manage to get Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) out of their lives soon…

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Secrets and Romance

Looks like John Black (Drake Hodgestyn) was going to spill the beans to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about Leo being his son when an interruption ruins the moment. While John’s sitting alone, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) approaches and asks how things went with his quest for answers. He confirms that his fears were right, but he’s not sure if he can really go through with telling the truth—awkward wouldn’t even begin to describe it. And we are not really fans of lies (and know they don’t work out in soap world), but we can’t blame John for his stance right now. It’s not exactly a great Valentine’s gift…

When Marlena gets back, they have a private romantic meal in the empty pub, and we just can’t get enough of these two.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The jig is up…

The whole Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) frame job is going to hell but quick. Ben managed to get free and took Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) with him at gunpoint. He insists to Hope that he had nothing to do with the kidnappings. It was his sister, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) and they need to get to Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) right away. Hope sees Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) behind them, who found Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) recovering from getting knocked out by Ben and ran off to find Hope, and plays along to distract Ben. Ted attacks, but Ben overpowers him (and doesn’t use the gun on him—wow. Yeah, this guy’s totally a threat) and escapes.

Ben soon has a new (reluctant) ally in Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), who’s sworn to Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) their baby will be back in her arms by end nightfall. Ben manages to talk Chad into taking him seriously after happening upon each other. Chad believes he knows exactly where Jordan must have them.

Meanwhile, Ciara is tied up in the cabin, which Jordan has set ablaze to make sure Ciara can’t bust her and screw up her insane plot to get her brother locked up. Jordan, sweety, you managed to do that just fine on your own. Anyway, Ben and Chad arrive in time to rescue Ciara, but Chad is freaking that baby Charlotte isn’t there. Ciara tells him she hopes that Jordan is bringing the baby back now. Chad rushes off while Ben tends to Ciara. Just as Ben and Ciara are going to leave to get her checked out, Hope arrives and demands that Ben get away from her daughter. The question is, will Mom believe her baby any more this time than last? Granted, there’s a lot of evidence in Ben’s favor, but this is Hope we’re talking about.

DOOL Spoilers:

Back at the Horton’s, Abigail catches Jordan in her house with the baby. Jordan claims she found Charlotte and brought her back. Abigail doesn’t have much time to enjoy the return of the little one, because Jordan catches the news on TV claiming Ben’s left custody. She refuses to hand over Charlotte, because she has to protect her from Ben. Abigail begs for her baby back, swearing she and Chad will protect Charlotte with their lives. Abigail, btw, is clearly weirded out. Lucky for her, Chad arrives at just the right time. He lies and claims Ben is dead (self-defense, of course) and this has every appearance of backfiring when we see how strongly Jordan reacts. She does, however, give the baby back and then runs off. Whether to try and save Ciara, or to maybe do something drastic over her brother being dead, we don’t know yet.

Also today: Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) is found by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and rushed to the hospital. They treat her for an overdose and run a tox screen. Two problems: One… we’re a little confused on why, when he called for help because she wasn’t breathing but had a slight pulse, he didn’t perform any mouth-to-mouth with those chest compressions. Two, why did Rafe have to go running for help when Kate started flatlining? Shouldn’t all those nifty machines in the room make people come running when that happens? We’ll see how Kate fares later on…
