Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Unintended Consequences?
Before Rex Brady got the distressing news that Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) suffered an overdose, he ran into a recent returnee while out and about trying to find something to replace his disaster of a baking attempt—Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley). He finds her looking distressed and offers help, and we’re seeing that he has a similarity to Captain Jack of Doctor Who fame—even trying to help someone sounds like a pick-up attempt. Having been away a while, he doesn’t know her or make the connection, but he does his best to help when he learns she’s just lost her brother. While they talk, he gets the call about Kate and excuses himself. Jordan is very upset that Kate is alive, by the way.
At the hospital, he meets Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and thanks him for helping Kate. At some point, he remembers that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is likely waiting for him by now and calls to fill her in. He shouldn’t have worried about her (or maybe yes?) because she was having a blast chatting it up with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). She’s all set to go be with Rex at the hospital, but he insists she stay and enjoy the meal he slaved over—which, unlike dessert, isn’t a solid mass of charcoal. He’s even more pleased to know that Eric Brady is there and able to join her, but will this end up with Rex getting dumped for his brother?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: All’s forgiven
After rescuing Charlotte, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail have a talk. He’s still feeling like a world-class jerk for not believing her before, but she’s ready to forgive and forget. Seems putting little Charlotte back in her arms has freed Abigail of her anger toward Chad. She’s ready to be a family once more.
Win some, lose some
Ben was being held at gunpoint by Hope the last we saw them, and now Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) has stepped in to defend him. She begs her mom not to shoot and insists that Jordan was the one who kidnapped her and the baby. Hope’s incredulous for a minute and we were about to do a massive eye roll. Luckily, our effort was spared by Ciara managing to get through to her mother. Hope shocks us by actually apologizing to Ben. He doesn’t seem to know how to take that any more than we do.

She shocks us more at the hospital when Ben walks in on them talking about how they don’t want to waste more time fighting. Hope has to go, but she wants Ben to stay and sit with Ciara. Did it just get really cold somewhere? ‘Cause we’re suddenly freezing. They still, of course, have things to discuss later, and Ben says that he’ll completely understand if she has to charge him for the escape he pulled. She leaves, and Ciara tells Ben she had come back early to work things out with him. She still wants that, in fact. Ben’s turn of fortune doesn’t seem to last long, though, because Jordan comes in and bashes Ben over the head.
