‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jordan and Curtis Get A Huge Clue – Port Charles Mayoral Race Heats Up, Lulu As Mod Causes Conflict of Interest; Not-Kevin In The Midst of the Drama

‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate some big things happening in Port Charles. Another week is over in PC, so in case you missed the action, let’s get to your General Hospital spoilers in the daily General Hospital recap.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny and Marcus Commiserate – The Disease Sucks

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Marcus Taggert (Mathew St. Patrick) open the episode having it out over Yvonne (Janet Hubert). Marcus says he knows who Sonny is because his reputation precedes him, but he’s not scared. Yvonne is what matters. Sonny assures him he understands, because he’s worried about his dad (Mike Corbin, played by Max Gail), too.

He says that since they can’t make decisions for themselves, it’s up to them. Marcus thinks things are different for him because his dad doesn’t live there, and when Marcus gets to see her, he may as well be a stranger. Sonny thinks that his dad and Yvonne are helping each other, but Marcus says that doesn’t mean anything against  three decades. They can agree on one thing at least: the disease sucks.

They actually commiserate over the effects on their loved ones and them. Yvonne comes in and wants to know where Mike is. Yvonne doesn’t remember Marcus and looks freaked out. Marcus’ attempts to explain just upset her and make her want Mike more.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Stella and Mike, Cherry Pie and Coconut Cream

Meanwhile, Stella (Vernee Watson) and Mike talk. He says that while cherry pie’s his favorite, Yvonne likes Coconut cream and ordering that wouldn’t be the same. He misses her, and knows she misses him. He doesn’t want her to feel worry. Stella says she can bring him, but things will be different if she does.

Mike remembers Marcus and how he was going to take her away. He worries that Sonny won’t be there in time to stop it. Stella assures Mike that Marcus isn’t a bad person, but Mike doesn’t buy it since they’re being kept apart. She agrees that finding someone at any age is a blessing, and Mike wonders why Marcus can’t see it.

Mike asks Stella if she knows what it’s like to be needed by someone special, and this is such a sad, sweet story going on right now. We can’t even. Eventually, they all come together at the facility and Mike thinks he has to say goodbye. Marcus says that Sonny convinced him to let her stay.

‘General Hospital’ GH Spoilers: Jordan and Curtis Ashford, Working Everything Out.. Besides the Suspect

Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) meet about the case because he’s always been her favorite person to bounce ideas off of. He agrees they make a great team, and she says they need a breakthrough. Jordan says they need to stave off a panic, and he thinks that’s going to be easier said. They talk about how she has everything covered, except for a suspect. How comforting…

They keep going over stuff and Curtis suggest making a list. She’s got it covered, and he’s not surprised. They go over all the names involved and this is surprising, as we haven’t seen such an in-depth example of somewhat competant police world in soap world in a while. They get around to Ryan Chamberlin, and they have no idea how close they’re getting. This is amusing. They eventually make a huge break when they realize there is a detail being used in these killings that wasn’t released before.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Maxie Attends a Self-Defense Class – Really Bad Idea

Maxie Jones (Kristin Storms) attends a self-defense class run by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) with Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford), Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). We’re not so sure this class is a good idea, considering that there is clear animosity in the room right from the start.

Willow is introduced to Maxie and after some small talk, Nina pulls Maxie aside and leaves Maxie completely confused. While the girls all finish getting ready, Maxie gets pulled into a bullying argument between the others. Maxie pulls a save by prompting Chase to start already. And we can’t blame her at all.

Who wants to be dragged into someone else’s drama? Maxie overcompensates at the start of the class to try fixing the bad energy in the room. The girls are not paying attention because they’re too busy fighting. We’re thinking they’re so dead if they get into a situation.

Maxie eventually jumps in during the fights and asks how the kids will get along if they can’t, but they’re too busy going at each other to listen. Eventually, the class from Hell ends, and Willow gets a date with their instructor.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Are we sure they’re running for office?

Julian Jerome (William DeVry) is hosting a town hall because he thinks that it’s good publicity. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) wonders if the serial killer thing is going to keep people from coming. And only on a soap opera can we hear something like that so casually thrown out. Awesome places, these soap towns. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is one of the candidates, as is Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Isn’t this a bit of a conflict with Lulu as mod? She’s her daughter, after all. Not-Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) later appears, and overhears the serial killer talk. He says that she’s right about the strength in numbers thing and the killer doesn’t stand a chance. Lulu says she doesn’t want him to cause a scene. He defends himself by saying that he didn’t know there was a town meeting today.

They decide to start and Laura promises Ned she’s going to bring it. Lulu actually addresses being her daughter and swears fairness. Ned makes a quip about mic muting, and Lulu shoots back that he has no mic. Lulu kicks off the meeting filled with questions about diversity and economics.

We’re impressed that this is such a civil town hall. Are we sure these are people running for political office? I mean, where’s the mud? Not-Kevin actually speaks up in Laura’s defense during it, so she promises to make a huge commitment to mental health issues. After the meeting, Laura goes to meet Sonny, but when she gets there Not-Kevin is waiting.
