‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Griffin Loses His Faith, Ava Loses Her Mind, Ryan His Cool and Murders Again

‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate that emotions are at their peak in Port Charles. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) loses his faith, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is obsessed by Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) death and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon lindstrom) loses his cool and is on the verge of his next murder. Last week, we ended the week in Port Charles with some bad news for one character, a possible revelation in the murder case, and more. Missed all the General Hospital Spoilers? No worries, because we’ve got your General Hospital recap all ready to go. Let’s start with the murder plot.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Franco Pushes Ryan’s Buttons

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has gone to the spot where Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) died, hoping to lure the killer out of hiding so she can deliver some payback. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) comes along and shows some actual sense by pointing out how insane that plan is. Ava doesn’t care, though, because she’s willing to do anything to find Kiki’s murderer.

As the Soap Gods would have it, the killer himself, Not-Dr. Kevin Collins (Ryan Chamberlin, played by Jon Lindstrom) arrives at that very spot. We’re not going to get into why no one wonders why he was just taking a nighttime stroll there, but Franco proves he’s got sense yet again, by being completely blown away by the fact Not-Kevin doesn’t seem to be all too concerned with this suicide scheme of Ava’s.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Franco Dismissed By “Not-Kevin”

We guess Not-Kevin doesn’t appreciate that, or the call-out by Franco for ghosting him on those therapy appointments, because he proceeds to fire Franco as his patient. He claims that Franco isn’t making the progress he needs to with him, so it’s time for Franco to go elsewhere. After Franco storms off, Ava wonders if that was the best idea. Not-Kevin’s not too concerned with that.

Instead he proceeds to creepily fill her in on more insight into the murderer and say he thinks it would be a good idea if Ava stopped feeding him partially with her behavior by leaving town. For good. Oops. This can only end well, are we right?

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Losing the Faith

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) runs into Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) at the chapel when he arrives to offer some prayers for Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) and his family. He tries to console Griffin, but Griffin is over everyone’s talk about how great Kiki was and how much potential she had. He says is just makes him angrier about what happened. Seems this whole situation has taken away the faith he’d spent a lifetime on, and he throws away a necklace he’s been wearing since childhood. As far as he’s concerned, science is all there is for him.

Sonny, not deterred by the negativity that was Griffin, will continue to offer prayers to Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller), who he goes to see. He offers all his resources to help. While they appreciate, they’ve already done all the looking they’re going to do, because their search so far has shown nothing but dead ends.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Going By Data

As mentioned earlier, Griffin is not having the ‘faith’ thing now that Kiki is gone, and this somewhat affects Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and her sudden blindness. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had brought her in to get checked out, and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) rushes to be by her side, while Griffin comes in to examine her. He promises to run tests, and later gets into a fight with Finn over his attitude. Griffin snaps that he goes by data now, not faith, and until the tests are all completed, he can’t give Finn any answers, or hope. Nor can he give that to Anna.

Later, they determine that Anna suffered a form of a hemorrhage, but they can’t be sure if that is what caused the blindness just yet. He tells her there’s a laser treatment that gets some good results, but they can’t know for sure if her sight can be restored by it. Meanwhile, Peter, who was sent away, meets with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to let him know what happened, but he’s very clear on not wanting him around Anna.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Those Tangled Webs…

Valentin spends a lot of this episode trying to win back Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford), and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who’s been looking for work, doesn’t seem to like it. She gets even testier when Nina starts going on about her daughter and how amazing she is, and how much she looks like the family. Liesl’s attitude makes Nina think she’s feeling some guilt over her own apparently crappy parenting, but Leisl assures her she is way off. Despite trying to get a job out of Valentin earlier, she tells Nina that she needs to know something about “her daughter”.
