Alyssa Milano, who is best known for being on the hit show Charmed, has given fans an update on her health after she suffered a car accident while in her uncle’s car.
Alyssa Milano Suffers A Car Accident While Her Uncle Had A Heart Attack Behind The Wheel
To make things worse, her uncle suffered a heart attack at the wheel. The accident occurred in Los Angeles, with Alyssa’s uncle subsequently going unconscious. As he was no longer in control of the car, Alyssa took over and hit the brakes. The car went out of control and hit another vehicle before coming to a standstill.
The ambulance quickly arrived on the scene to give CPR to her uncle in order to save him. And the incident has left Alyssa with some major trauma. But in a post to her fans on Instagram, she paid huge respect to the medical staff that were able to help.
She said: “I am grateful to the people who stopped to help us. I’ll never be able to thank them enough for the care and attention they, along with the first responders, doctors, nurses, and staff at UCLA Medical Center, paid to him and to me.”
The news was a major relief, given that Alyssa is also a mother to her two kids: Milo and Elizabella. Naturally, it could have been a huge tragedy if something were to have happened to her, which would have left her husband, David Bugliari as a single father.
Despite the fact that everything turned out fine, Alyssa is looking to avoid any further media intrusion. She added: “[Can everyone] “afford [Mitch] and my family the kindness of privacy as we move through this incredibly painful time.”
This is not the first time that Alyssa has had a major health scare, which is why she has urged her fans to take up first aid. Being skilled in this area is the difference between life and death, as she saw with her own eyes.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “Please, take this as your inspiration to get CPR certified. You don’t know when you’ll be called upon to save a life…It’s such a small effort and can have a huge impact.”
