General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 16th reveal Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) secret is finally out. And it looks like this will cause chaos for all involved. Plus, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is ready to throw down, legally speaking. Plus, we’ll see some more about Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and this secret of his. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers: Secret’s out
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly finally couldn’t hide the truth anymore. Thanks to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) taking a turn for the worse, coming clean was the only thing Carly could do. And we do give her some credit for not hesitating to tell the truth when she learned just how dire things were. Still, that doesn’t excuse that she has now hid not one, but two daughters from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). It’ll likely be Monday, January 16th, when she might have to answer to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). He’ll want the truth from his mother, and we’re not so sure he’ll like what he hears. Of course, knowing how things go with them, he’ll likely forgive her quickly. But we do see at least some tension between them when she admits the truth. Especially the whole sabotage of the birth parent search.
General Hospital spoilers: Choices
Speaking of this whole mess, we’re pretty sure Willow is going to seriously consider giving up rather than take anything from Nina. At least, if that look she gives in the promo is any indication. That was a death glare if ever we saw one. And since Monday’s teaser talks about Nina being resolved, there’s a good chance there will be a bit of a fight ahead over this. We see Willow worrying that Nina will use this to get back into her son’s life, as if Nina is some evil mastermind who is gleefully taking advantage of their misfortune.
General Hospital spoilers: Fight ahead
Elsewhere, General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer is determined to keep his new sibling away from both parents. And to do this, he’ll hire Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). She’ll warn him this fight will be like setting a wildfire, and we don’t disagree. But we do believe Spencer is a far better choice than his father to raise that kid. He’s proven himself to be far more of a man than Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
General Hospital spoilers: Hints
Finally, there’s been a lot of Austin dealing with some cousin that is clearly making him cover up situations close to what Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) people would be into. This week, it looks like things will come to a head between the two men. There’s a shot of them fighting in the weekly preview, and we imagine this is mostly Austin being tired of getting pushed around.
